Zach Poku vs Kentay Waris

Boxing Daily Report from the Coetzee Promotions promoted show at Kumasi Sowah, Kumasi,  taking place on 19/01/2033:

There are plenty of empty seats out here tonight, with the show nowhere near close to selling out.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a final eliminator for the Ghana-Ashanti Welterweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Zach Poku (23(7) - 8(4)) who hails from Kumasi, Ghana and Kentay Waris(5 - 7 - 2) from Kumasi, Ghana.  Both Poku and Waris weighed in at 146 pounds And 9 ounces.  
The referee tonight is James Ampomah, and the three ringside judges are Jawad Mashriqi, Mason Attoh and Haider Raad.  

Round 1: 

Poku lands a right hook to the body, a left hook to the head and a jab to the head.  
Poku advances into close range and lands two left hooks followed by a right hook to his opponents head.  
Poku quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent and hits home with a cross.  
Poku advances into close range and is on target with a left hook to Waris's body.  Poku holds on to his opponent.  Poku hits his opponent with a kidney shot within the clinch. Poku pushes his forearm into Waris's face.  The ref separates the two fighters.

Poku manouvers Waris into a corner.  Waris throws a left uppercut, but Poku holds on to his opponent.  As they grapple, Poku pushes his forearm into Waris's face.  The referee breaks the clinch and warns Poku to stop fouling.  
Poku pivots from in front of his opponent and lands a right hook to the body, and then to the head.  He follows up the attack and lands two right hooks to his opponents ribs.  
Waris is looking to keep the action on the outside and attempts to land a jab, but Poku slips the shot and counters with a sharp right hook.  
Poku closes the distance and lands a double left hook to his opponents head.  Poku ties up his opponent.  Poku leans on his opponent using all his weight. The ref separates the two fighters.  
Poku lands a left hook to the body, a left hook to the head and a right hook to the head.  
Waris steps away from his opponent.  Poku feints a left, and then is on target with a firm cross.  
Poku finds the target with a solid jab.  
Poku gets on the inside and lands a right hook.

Poku is on target with a spiteful right hook.  WARIS WAS STUNNED BY THAT SHOT!
