Bruce Wass vs Rich Smuraglia

Boxing Daily Report from the Joe Mama promoted show at Joshua Grillini Gym, Sydney,  taking place on 31/01/2033:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 4 round matchup are Bruce Wass (5 - 0 - 2) who hails from Sydney, Australia and Rich Smuraglia(12 - 10 - 1) from Sydney, Australia.  Both Wass and Smuraglia weighed in at 122 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Richard Bean, and the three ringside judges are Arnie Lipton, Colin McKay and Mark Karalis.  

Round 1: 

Wass is on target with a jab.

Smuraglia gets on the inside and walks his opponent down, trapping him on the ropes.  Smuraglia lands a right hook.

Wass tries to step out of his opponents range and lands a jab.  
Smuraglia feints a jab, fooling Wass into throwing a left uppercut counter.  Smuraglia springs the trap, countering with  a right uppercut.  
At the end of Round 1, lets listen in on the corners...Wass's trainer is suggesting ways of getting through to his opponent.  Wass's trainer is passing on some tactical advice.

Smuraglia is looking to close the distance.  Wass attempts to land a left hook, but Smuraglia blocks the shot and counters with a cross.  
Smuraglia lands a jab.  
Smuraglia connects with a right uppercut.  
Wass tries to keep the action at long range and is on target with a jab.
