Denton Herd vs Mortimer Marais

Boxing Daily Report from the North Star Boxing promoted show at Bob Guertin Arena, Gaineau,  taking place on 16/04/2033:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  This is a final eliminator for the Canada Super Flyweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Denton Herd (9(2) - 1) who hails from Saskatoon, Canada and Mortimer Marais(21 - 5(2) - 1) from Gaineau, Canada.  Both Herd and Marais weighed in at 115 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Mark Mostyn, and the three ringside judges are Verrier Luna, Destin Dauphin and Phil Pearce.  

Round 1:
