Michael Bani vs Gregor Dauda

Boxing Daily Report from the AI Ghana-Northern Ghana promoted show at Sammy Rahman Gym, Tamale,  taking place on 25/01/2033:

There are plenty of empty seats out here tonight, with the show nowhere near close to selling out.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Ghana-Northern Ghana Heavyweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Michael Bani (6 - 14 - 8) who hails from Tamale, Ghana and Gregor Dauda(10 - 16 - 3) from Tamale, Ghana.  Bani weighed in at 229 pounds and 9 ounces, while Dauda weighed in at 228 pounds and 8 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Sam Adabor, and the three ringside judges are Nabulung Akamenya, Obiajulu Alhassan and Nabulung Akamenya.  

Round 1: 

Dauda gets on the inside and manouvers Bani onto the ropes.  Dauda pivots to the side of his opponent andAs the two fighters work on the inside, their heads come together!  The ref does not appear to have noticed the clash as Bani dabs at his face checking for damage.  
Dauda forces Bani to back into a corner.  Dauda lands a right hook.  
Dauda forces Bani to retreat onto the ropes.  Dauda connects with a left hook.  
Dauda closes the distance and cuts off the ring, trapping Bani on the ropes.  Dauda digs in a left hook to Bani's body.
