Joe Marn vs Chris MacNaughton

Boxing Daily Report from the North Star Boxing promoted show at College Street Music Hall, New Haven,  taking place on 28/01/2033:

The venue is mostly sold out with the fans eager to turn out for tonights fights.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 8 round matchup are Joe Marn (8(4) - 1) who hails from Saskatoon, Canada and Chris MacNaughton(2 - 3) from Greensboro, USA.  Both Marn and MacNaughton weighed in at 112 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Richard Cowans, and the three ringside judges are John Kippen, Michael Shanks and Ian Cragg.  

Round 1: 

Marn is on target with a cross.

The ref breaks the clinch and signals for the action to continue.  Marn tries to land a left hook, but MacNaughton sidesteps and counters with a right uppercut.

The winner by KO is Marn!
