Michi Ashikaga vs Ichiro Tashiro

Boxing Daily Report from the Koranteng Promotions promoted show at Sapporo Sugita, Sapporo,  taking place on 28/01/2033:

There are a few empty seats out here tonight, but this is a respectable turnout for the show.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Japan-Hokkaido Super Featherweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Michi Ashikaga (10 - 1) who hails from Hakodate, Japan and Ichiro Tashiro(16(1) - 15(5) - 2) from Sapporo, Japan.  Both Ashikaga and Tashiro weighed in at 130 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Satoru Yasui, and the three ringside judges are Raiden Takamoto, Jiro Yokoyama and Eiji Tanaka.  

Round 1: 

Ashikaga closes the distance.  Ashikaga sidesteps to the right of his opponent.  Tashiro tries to land a right hook, but Ashikaga slips the shot and counters with a cross.
