Jose Peres vs Felippe Bohorquez

Boxing Daily Report from the Bawuah Promotions promoted show at Larenzo Cobian Gym, Acapulco,  taking place on 28/01/2033:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Mexico-Guerrero Lightweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Jose Peres (8 - 7(2) - 2) who hails from Acapulco, Mexico and Felippe Bohorquez(4 - 11(1) - 3) from Acapulco, Mexico.  Peres weighed in at 135 pounds, while Bohorquez weighed in at 135 pounds and 8 ounces.    As Bohorquez came in over the weight limit, only his opponent will be able to compete for the final eliminator position tonight.  
The referee tonight is Joaquin Bedoya, and the three ringside judges are Carlos Jurado, Carlos Sancho and Frisco Estremera.

As the two fighters work on the inside, their heads come together!  The ref acknowledges the accidental headclash but allows the action to continue.  Bohorquez has been damaged by that accidental headbutt.  That has caused slight swelling  around the left eye.
