Boxing Daily Report from the AI New Zealand-Wellington promoted show at Brett Cammon Gym, Wellington,  taking place on 26/01/2033:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a final eliminator for the New Zealand-Wellington Lightweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Duncan Wathen (13 - 9(3) - 2) who hails from Wellington, New Zealand and Lucas Charles(23(9) - 2 - 1) from Wellington, New Zealand.  Both Wathen and Charles weighed in at 135 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Patrick Swanson, and the three ringside judges are Mark Dew, Oraora Pareraukawa and Barry Ramage.

Charles quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent and lands a right uppercut followed by a right hook to his opponents body.  
Wathen tries to land a left uppercut, but his opponent parries the shot and counters with a left uppercut.  
Charles lands two right hooks to his opponents ribs.  
Charles forces Wathen to back into the ropes.  Charles is on target with a solid left hook to his opponents ribs.  
Charles is on target with a right hook to his opponents body.  
Charles lands a left hook, left uppercut and a left hook to his opponents body.  
Charles drives a left hook into his opponents body.  
Charles sidesteps to the right of his opponent and lands a right hook to the head followed by a left uppercut to the body.

Wathen is looking to keep his distance and throws a cross, but his opponent sidesteps and counters with a CRUSHING left hook.  WATHEN WAS STUNNED BY THAT SHOT!  
Wathen steps inside.  Charles is looking to force the stoppage!  Charles lands a FEROCIOUS left hook.  WATHEN HAS BEEN KNOCKED DOWN!  He beats the count, getting up at 4.  
Wathen is looking to keep his distance.  Charles lands a right hook followed by a left hook to his opponents head, AND SENDS WATHEN TO THE CANVAS!  He beats the count, getting up at 6.  
Charles steps inside.  Charles SLAMS a SAVAGE cross into his opponents face.  WATHEN HAS BEEN KNOCKED DOWN!  HE MAKES IT TO ONE KNEE, BUT IS UNABLE TO RISE ANY FURTHER AS THE REF COUNTS 10!  The winner by KO is Charles!
