Dikembe Ayensu vs Lloyd Mensah

Boxing Daily Report from the AI Ghana-Northern Ghana promoted show at Tamale Quainoo, Tamale,  taking place on 29/01/2033:

The venue is mostly sold out with the fans eager to turn out for tonights fights.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a final eliminator for the Ghana-Northern Ghana Lightweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Dikembe Ayensu (9 - 15 - 2) who hails from Tamale, Ghana and Lloyd Mensah(20 - 13(2)) from Tamale, Ghana.  Both Ayensu and Mensah weighed in at 135 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Rich Burja, and the three ringside judges are John Anyidoho, Robert Eck and Fraser Habe.  

Round 1: 

Mensah throws a cross, but his opponent blocks the shot and counters with a left uppercut.

Mensah pivots to the right of his opponent.  Ayensu throws an uppercut to the body, but lands well below the belt!  The ref ignores Mensah's complaints and signals for the action to continue.
