Yakubu Girei vs Emem Isangedighe

Boxing Daily Report from the Ofosu-Ayeh Promotions promoted show at Kano Miah, Kano,  taking place on 01/02/2033:

There are plenty of empty seats out here tonight, with the show nowhere near close to selling out.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Nigeria-Kano State Featherweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Yakubu Girei (23 - 14 - 4) who hails from Kano, Nigeria and Emem Isangedighe(8 - 14 - 2) from Kano, Nigeria.  Both Girei and Isangedighe weighed in at 126 pounds.  
The referee tonight is James Obekpa, and the three ringside judges are Obafemi Olayinka, Theophilus Adeniran and Gbolahan Adenaike.  

Round 1: 

Isangedighe lands a left hook.  Isangedighe attempts to land an uppercut to the solar plexus, but he strays low!  The ref stops the action and gives Girei time to recover.
