Nemesio Carpio vs Jax Lacerda

Boxing Daily Report from the Ngcobo Promotions promoted show at Havana Zaragosa, Havana,  taking place on 03/02/2033:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Cuba Super Bantamweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Nemesio Carpio (17 - 5(4)) who hails from Las Tunas, Cuba and Jax Lacerda(25 - 9 - 3) from Havana, Cuba.  Both Carpio and Lacerda weighed in at 122 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Joaquin Olguin, and the three ringside judges are Ora Calvin, Luis Cruz and Sancho Luiz.  

Round 1: 

Carpio tries to keep the action at long range and tries to land a jab, but his opponent blocks the shot and counters with a right uppercut.

Lacerda advances into close range.  Lacerda pivots from in front of his opponent.  Lacerda throws a left uppercut, but Carpio ties up his opponent.  Carpio leans on his opponent using all his weight. Lacerda pushes his forearm into Carpio's face.  The ref breaks the clinch and signals for the action to continue.  
Carpio pivots to the side of his opponent and lands a left hook to the body followed by a right hook to the head.  He then lands a double right hook to his opponents head.  
Lacerda walks his opponent down, trapping him on the ropes.  Carpio lands a double right hook to his opponents head.  
Lacerda gets on the inside.  Frustration is starting to boil over for Lacerda now.   He steps inside, but then strikes Carpio with a blatant low blow!  The ref separates the two fighters and tells Lacerda to keep his punches up.  He gives Carpio a few minutes to recover.
