Eduardo Aviles vs Xabat Portales

Boxing Daily Report from the AI Philippines-South Cotabato promoted show at Santiago Albarado Gym, General Santos,  taking place on 28/01/2033:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Philippines-South Cotabato Light Flyweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Eduardo Aviles (9 - 21 - 3) who hails from General Santos, Philippines and Xabat Portales(16 - 3(2) - 1) from General Santos, Philippines.  Aviles weighed in at 108 pounds, while Portales weighed in at 107 pounds and 13 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Cipriano Ouano, and the three ringside judges are Nemesio Sagun, Rio Licud and Ryo Dorantes.  

Round 1: 

Portales is looking to close the distance and hits home with a right hook.  Portales holds on to his opponent.  As they grapple, Portales pushes his forearm into Aviles's face.  The ref calls break and the two fighters separate.

It looks like the clash of heads has caused some damage to Aviles.  That has caused slight damage to the nose.
