Evgeny Bryukhankov vs Alik Gutowsky

Boxing Daily Report from the AI Russia-Omsk Oblast promoted show at Isaak Kovalski Gym, Omsk,  taking place on 28/01/2033:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Russia-Omsk Oblast Flyweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Evgeny Bryukhankov (8 - 18 - 5) who hails from Omsk, Russia and Alik Gutowsky(21(15) - 1) from Omsk, Russia.  Both Bryukhankov and Gutowsky weighed in at 112 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Fedor Slutzky, and the three ringside judges are Gennady Golubev, Kolya Baiborodov and Fedya Samourgachev.  

Round 1: 

Gutowsky closes the distance and lands two left hooks to his opponents ribs.  
Gutowsky gets on the inside and lands a left hook to the body followed by a right uppercut to the head.  Gutowsky clinches his opponent.  Gutowsky is leaning on his opponent in the clinch. Gutowsky pushes his forearm into Bryukhankov's face.  The referee warns Gutowsky and breaks the clinch.  
Gutowsky lands a right uppercut followed by a left hook to his opponents body.  Gutowsky attempts to land a left hook, but Bryukhankov blocks the shot and counters with a cross.  
Gutowsky closes the distance and forces Bryukhankov to back into a corner.  Gutowsky drives a right hook into Bryukhankov's ribs.  
Gutowsky connects with a cross.  
Gutowsky steps inside.  Gutowsky sidesteps to the right of his opponent and digs in a firm left hook to his opponents ribs.  
Gutowsky pivots to the left of his opponent and is on target with a left hook to his opponents ribs.  
Gutowsky sidesteps to the left of his opponent and lands a left hook to the body, a right hook to the head and a left hook to the body.  
Gutowsky manouvers Bryukhankov into the corner.  Gutowsky is on target with a WICKED right hook.  BRYUKHANKOV WAS STUNNED BY THAT SHOT!  Gutowsky holds on to his opponent.  Gutowsky leans on his opponent trying to wear him down. The ref breaks Gutowsky's hold and signals for the fight to continue.  
Gutowsky is looking to put the pressure on now...he knows a few clean shots could mean an early night.  Gutowsky lands a right hook to the body, a right uppercut to the body and a left hook to the head.  He follows up the attack and lands a cross, left uppercut and a right hook to his opponents head, AND DROPS BRYUKHANKOV TO THE CANVAS!  He beats the count, getting up at 5.  Bryukhankov now appears to have recovered from that earlier shot.  
Gutowsky quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent and drives a left hook into Bryukhankov's ribs.  
Gutowsky digs in a left hook to his opponents body.  Gutowsky clinches his opponent.  Gutowsky leans on his opponent trying to wear him down. The ref breaks Gutowsky's hold and signals for the fight to continue.  
Gutowsky manages to force Bryukhankov into a corner.  Gutowsky is on target with a left uppercut to his opponents body.  
Gutowsky lands a right uppercut followed by a left hook to his opponents body.  
Gutowsky lands a left uppercut followed by a left hook to his opponents head.  He continues the combination and lands two right hooks to his opponents ribs, AND HIS OPPONENT IS HURT!  Bryukhankov recovers before his opponent can take advantage. 
Gutowsky forces Bryukhankov to back into the red corner.  Gutowsky pivots to the right of his opponent and lands a left uppercut to the head followed by a right hook to the body.

Gutowsky throws a left hook, but his opponent sidesteps and counters with a left hook.  
Gutowsky advances into close range and manages to force Bryukhankov onto the ropes.  Gutowsky lands a left uppercut to the body, a left uppercut to the head and a left hook to the head.  
At the end of Round 1, lets listen in on the corners...Bryukhankov's trainer is telling his fighter he needs to be more active or he's going to get outworked.  Bryukhankov's trainer is passing on some tactical advice.
