Johnny Kettles vs Paul Strothers

Boxing Daily Report from the AI USA-Kentucky promoted show at Lexington Mahaffy, Lexington,  taking place on 07/02/2033:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the USA-Deep South Minimumweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Johnny Kettles (4 - 2 - 2) who hails from Louisville, USA and Paul Strothers(4 - 5) from New Orleans, USA.  Both Kettles and Strothers weighed in at 105 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Will Edington, and the three ringside judges are Mark Malis, Patrick Carnegie and Shaun Woodman.  

Round 1: 

Strothers forces Kettles to back into a corner.  Strothers drives a right hook into Kettles's body.  
Kettles steps away from his opponent.  Strothers lands a cross.

As the two fighters work on the inside, their heads come together!  The ref does not appear to have noticed the clash as Strothers dabs at his face checking for damage.
