Quico Vagay vs Andy Madarang

Boxing Daily Report from the ADR Boxing promoted show at Philippine Arena, Santa Maria,  taking place on 12/03/2033:

There are plenty of empty seats out here tonight, with the show nowhere near close to selling out.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  On the line tonight is the Philippines-Bulacan Bantamweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on Main Event, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Quico The Thing Vagay (49(21) - 9(3) - 2) who hails from San Jose del Monte, Philippines and Andy Madarang(9 - 8(1) - 4) from Malolos, Philippines.  Both Vagay and Madarang weighed in at 118 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Bryan Dunglao, and the three ringside judges are Alejandro Unabia, Emilio Macalintal and Ovidio Sugcang.  

Round 1: 

Vagay is looking to close the distance and throws a right hook, but the shot is blocked.  Vagay holds on to his opponent.  As they grapple, Vagay pushes his forearm into Madarang's face.  The referee separates the two fighters and warns Vagay.  
Madarang pivots from in front of his opponent.  Vagay lands a left uppercut to the head, a left uppercut to the body and a left hook to the body.  Vagay clinches his opponent.  Vagay is leaning on his opponent in the clinch. The ref separates the two fighters.
