Luis Gonzalez vs Owen Milliner

Boxing Daily Report from the Showtime Promotions promoted show at Miami Beach Convention Center, Miami,  taking place on 12/02/2033:

Clearly Showtime Promotions have made a mistake booking this venue with less than half the tickets sold, including those handed out as prizes by Boxing Daily.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on ESPN, the two fighters competing in this 8 round matchup are Luis Gonzalez (6(3) - 0) who hails from Bayamon, Puerto Rico and Owen Milliner(1 - 3(2)) from Austin, USA.  Both Gonzalez and Milliner weighed in at 135 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Rob Quigg, and the three ringside judges are Malcolm Kinion, Arran Huntress and Brett Arthur.  

Round 1: 

Gonzalez pivots to the right of his opponent and lands a jab, left hook and a cross to his opponents head.  
Milliner gets on the inside.  Gonzalez lands two left hook's to the head followed by a right uppercut to the body.  Gonzalez clinches his opponent.  Gonzalez pushes his forearm into Milliner's face.  The ref calls break and the two fighters separate.  
Gonzalez tries to keep the action at long range and is on target with a jab.  
Gonzalez lands an overhand right.  
Gonzalez lands two consecutive overhand rights to his opponents head.  
Gonzalez hits home with a cross.

Milliner is looking to close the distance and manages to force Gonzalez into a neutral corner.  The two boxers are fighting in-close, but their heads clash!  The ref does not appear to have noticed the clash as Milliner dabs at his face checking for damage.  
Milliner steps inside.  Gonzalez pivots to the right of his opponent and digs in a right hook to his opponents ribcage.  
At the end of Round 1, lets listen in on the corners...Milliner's trainer is telling his fighter he needs to be more active or he's going to get outworked.

Milliner steps inside.  Gonzalez throws a left hook, but the shot is blocked.  Gonzalez holds on to his opponent.  Gonzalez tries to make the space to throw a hook, but hits Milliner's kidney. The referee separates the two fighters and warns Gonzalez.  
Gonzalez lands a sharp jab.  
Gonzalez attempts to land an overhand left, but Milliner sidesteps and counters with a cross.  
Gonzalez hits home with a sharp cross.  
Gonzalez switches the action to the outside.  Gonzalez sidesteps to the right of his opponent and lands a stinging cross.  
Gonzalez lands a jab followed by a right hook to his opponents head.  HE HAS HIS OPPONENT IN TROUBLE!  
Gonzalez forces Milliner to back into the corner.  Gonzalez is looking to force the stoppage!  Gonzalez lands two consecutive straights to his opponents head.  He then lands a left uppercut, left hook and a left uppercut to his opponents head, AND DROPS MILLINER TO THE CANVAS!  He is back up on his feet at 4.  It looks like Milliner has now recovered from that shot earlier.

Some sustained pressure from Gonzalez could be enough to finish Milliner!  Gonzalez lands two consecutive straights to his opponents head.  He continues the combination and lands a cross followed by a right hook to his opponents head, AND MILLINER IS KNOCKED DOWN!  He is back up on his feet at 7.  
Gonzalez EXPLODES a spiteful cross into his opponents face.  MILLINER IS SENT SPRAWLING TO THE CANVAS!  HE ISNT GOING TO BEAT THE COUNT!  The winner by KO is Gonzalez!
