Cris Candela vs Xaver Ramos

Boxing Daily Report from the Kwofie Promotions promoted show at Ximen Fuentes Gym, Mexicali,  taking place on 18/02/2033:

There are a few empty seats out here tonight, but this is a respectable turnout for the show.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Mexico-Baja California Super Middleweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Cris Candela (5 - 6) who hails from Tijuana, Mexico and Xaver Ramos(19 - 14 - 1) from Tijuana, Mexico.  Candela weighed in at 167 pounds and 13 ounces, while Ramos weighed in at 168 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Carlos Ojeda, and the three ringside judges are Santiago Barabas, Joaquin Macario and Vicente Navarra.  

Round 1: 

Ramos advances into close range and digs in a left hook to Candela's body.
