Azam Ammar vs Carlos Puente

Boxing Daily Report from the Forficula B promoted show at Guyana Marriott Hotel, Georgetown,  taking place on 06/02/2033:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 6 round matchup are Azam Ammar (2 - 7 - 1) who hails from Aden, Yemen and Carlos Puente(8 - 9 - 2) from Bogota, Colombia.  Both Ammar and Puente weighed in at 147 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Kieran Wales, and the three ringside judges are Paul Dovey, Mark Firth and Chris Page.  

Round 1: 

Puente gets on the inside.  Ammar lands a left hook.  The two boxers are fighting in-close, but their heads clash!  The ref does not appear to have noticed the clash as Puente dabs at his face checking for damage.  
Puente closes the distance.  Ammar hits home with a left uppercut.

Ammar quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent.  Puente hits home with a right hook.  
Puente pivots to the left of his opponent and is on target with a right hook.  
Puente throws a short cross to the body, but lands low!  The ref ignores Ammar's complaints and signals for the action to continue.  
Puente walks Ammar into a neutral corner.  Puente is on target with a cross.  
Puente connects with a right hook.  
Ammar steps away from his opponent.  Puente tries to land a cross, but his opponent sidesteps and counters with a left hook.

Puente gets on the inside and walks Ammar down, trapping him in the corner.  Ammar wants to work on the inside, but accidentally clashes heads with his opponent!  The ref does not appear to have noticed the clash as Puente dabs at his face checking for damage.  
Ammar pivots to the side of his opponent and goes for the bodyshot, but lands south of the border!  The ref stops the action.  The ref sends Puente to the neutral corner.  He has a stern word with Ammar and threatens a point deduction if continues to foul.  
Ammar is on target with a cross.
