Waleed Nagi vs Vinay Tripathi

Boxing Daily Report from the AI India-Gujurat promoted show at Surat Musa, Surat,  taking place on 14/03/2033:

There are plenty of empty seats out here tonight, with the show nowhere near close to selling out.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the India Light Flyweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on TEN Sports, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Waleed Nagi (6(1) - 0) who hails from Ghaziabad, India and Vinay Tripathi(5 - 13 - 2) from Ahmedabad, India.  Nagi weighed in at 108 pounds, while Tripathi weighed in at 107 pounds and 11 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Zuffur Nazir, and the three ringside judges are Haider Nazimuddin, Gurudas Kalla and Waqar Shakoor.

Tripathi attempts to land a right uppercut, but Nagi sidesteps and counters with a solid cross.  
Nagi sidesteps to the right of his opponent and lands two right hooks to his opponents ribs.  He follows up the attack and lands consecutive left uppercuts to his opponents body.  
Nagi is on target with a sharp right hook.  
Nagi lands a right hook to the body, and then to the head.  
Nagi advances into close range.  Tripathi throws a left hook, but Nagi holds on to his opponent.  As they grapple, Nagi pushes his forearm into Tripathi's face.  The referee separates the two fighters and warns Nagi.  
Nagi lands a right hook to the head followed by a left hook to the body.  
Nagi is looking to close the distance and drives a solid right hook into Tripathi's body.  
Nagi lands a cross to the head followed by a right hook to the body.  
Nagi attempts to land a left uppercut, but Tripathi blocks the shot and counters with a left uppercut.  
Tripathi pivots to the side of his opponent and lands two consecutive straights to his opponents head.  
Tripathi retreats back to the ropes, and waits for his opponent to attack.  Nagi steps in throwing power shots but is unable to land cleanly.  Nagi connects with a solid cross.  
Nagi drives a sharp left hook into Tripathi's body.  
At the end of Round 1, lets listen in on the corners...Tripathi's trainer is telling his fighter to increase his workrate.

Nagi attempts to land a left hook, but Tripathi parries the shot and counters with a left uppercut to Nagi's ribs.  
Nagi is on target with a left hook to Tripathi's ribs.  
Nagi sidesteps to the right of his opponent.  Nagi throws a right hook, but his opponent parries the shot.  Nagi holds on to his opponent.  Nagi is leaning on his opponent in the clinch. Tripathi is using his forearm in the clinch.  The ref calls break and the two fighters separate.  
Nagi closes the distance and throws a right hook, but is unable to get through his opponents guard.  Nagi ties up his opponent.  Nagi leans on his opponent using all his weight. The ref separates the two fighters.  
Nagi drives a sharp left uppercut into Tripathi's body.  
Nagi digs in a stinging right hook to his opponents ribcage.  
Nagi lands two right hooks to his opponents ribs, AND STUNS HIS OPPONENT!  
Nagi senses his opponent is hurt.  He is looking to stop Tripathi and just needs the right shot.  Nagi lands a cross to the head followed by a right uppercut to the body, AND SENDS TRIPATHI TO THE CANVAS!  He manages to get up at 4.
