Gavin McCloy vs Colin Pearce

Boxing Daily Report from the Andy Harvey promoted show at Ron MacAdams Gym, Manchester,  taking place on 18/03/2033:

There are plenty of empty seats out here tonight, with the show nowhere near close to selling out.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a final eliminator for the British-Central England Lightweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Gavin McCloy (17(3) - 1(1)) who hails from Birmingham, UK and Colin Pearce(16 - 10(4) - 4) from Northampton, UK.  Both McCloy and Pearce weighed in at 135 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Zain Salam, and the three ringside judges are Robert Wathen, Robert Goff and Daniel Holme.  

Round 1: 

McCloy gets on the inside and lands two right hooks to his opponents ribs.  
McCloy is on target with a right hook to his opponents body.  
McCloy advances into close range and digs in a left hook to his opponents body.  
McCloy lands a left hook, right hook and a left hook to his opponents body.  
McCloy gets on the inside and lands two left hooks to his opponents ribs.  
McCloy drives a right hook into Pearce's ribs.  
McCloy is on target with a cross.  
McCloy drives a right hook into his opponents ribs.  
McCloy closes the distance.  McCloy digs in a right hook to Pearce's body.  As Pearce tries to work on the inside, the fighters heads come together!  The ref does not appear to have noticed the clash as McCloy dabs at his face checking for damage.  
Pearce is looking to keep his distance and finds the target with a stinging jab.  
McCloy feints a left hook, but Pearce does not fall for it and responds with a left hook.  
McCloy steps inside.  Pearce sidesteps to the right of his opponent.  McCloy lands a right hook followed by a left hook to his opponents body.  As the two fighters work on the inside, their heads come together!  The ref does not appear to have noticed the clash as Pearce dabs at his face checking for damage.  
Pearce is looking to keep the action on the outside and tries to land a jab, but his opponent blocks the shot and counters with a right uppercut.  
McCloy gets on the inside.  McCloy sidesteps to the right of his opponent and drives a right hook into Pearce's ribs.  
McCloy lands a straight 1 - 2.  
McCloy steps inside and lands a left hook to the body, and then to the head.  McCloy clinches his opponent.  McCloy is using his forearm in the clinch.  The ref breaks the clinch and signals for the action to continue.  
McCloy lands a left hook.  
Pearce switches the action to the outside and tries to land a cross, but McCloy parries the shot and counters with a cross.  
McCloy is looking to close the distance and lands a right uppercut to the head followed by a right hook to the body, AND STUNS HIS OPPONENT!  McCloy clinches his opponent.  As they grapple, McCloy pushes his forearm into Pearce's face.  The referee breaks the clinch and warns McCloy to stop fouling.  Pearce quickly recovers. 
Pearce pivots to the side of his opponent.  Pearce tries to land a cross, but McCloy blocks the shot and counters with a left uppercut.  
McCloy advances into close range and lands a left hook to the body, and then to the head.  
Pearce steps to the outside.  Pearce sidesteps to the right of his opponent.  McCloy lands a jab followed by a overhand left to his opponents head.  McCloy throws a cross, but his opponent blocks the shot and counters with a cross.  
McCloy lands two right hooks to his opponents ribs.  
At the end of Round 1, lets listen in on the corners...Pearce's trainer is telling his fighter he needs to be more active or he's going to get outworked.

McCloy steps inside.  Pearce throws a right hook, but his opponent sidesteps and counters with a right hook.  
McCloy closes the distance and lands two right hooks to the body, and one to the head.  
McCloy cuts off the ring, trapping Pearce on the ropes.  McCloy lands a left hook, right hook and a left hook to his opponents body.  
McCloy throws a left hook, but his opponent slips the punch.  McCloy clinches his opponent.  The ref separates the two fighters.  
McCloy is on target with a left uppercut to Pearce's ribs.  
Pearce is on target with a cross.  
Pearce is on target with a left uppercut.  
Pearce strikes his opponents body with a jab.  Pearce attempts to land a jab, but McCloy parries the shot and counters with a left uppercut.  
McCloy steps inside and lands a right hook to the head, a right hook to the body and a left hook to the body.  
McCloy digs in a right hook to his opponents body.  
McCloy sidesteps to the left of his opponent and drives a right hook into Pearce's body.

Pearce is looking to keep his distance.  McCloy drops his guard, and stalks his opponent...he wants his opponent to throw a shot.  Pearce attempts to land a jab, but McCloy sidesteps and counters with a cross.  
McCloy digs in a left hook to Pearce's liver.  
McCloy lands a left hook to the body, a right hook to the head and a right uppercut to the head.  
McCloy manouvers Pearce onto the ropes.  McCloy hits home with a left hook.

As McCloy tries to work on the inside, the fighters heads come together!  The ref acknowledges the accidental headclash but allows the action to continue.  Pearce has been damaged by that accidental headbutt.  That has caused minor damage to the nose.  
McCloy cuts off the ring, trapping Pearce in the corner.  McCloy lands a right hook followed by a left hook to his opponents body.

McCloy steps inside and lands three consecutive right hooks to his opponents ribs.  
McCloy advances into close range and drives a right hook into his opponents ribs.  
McCloy drives a telling right uppercut into his opponents body.  IT LOOKS LIKE PEARCE WAS HURT BY THAT SHOT!  Pearce almost instantly recovers. 
McCloy cuts off the ring, trapping Pearce in a neutral corner.  McCloy drives a left hook into his opponents ribs.  
McCloy hits home with a left hook.  
McCloy lands two left hooks to his opponents ribs.  
McCloy sidesteps to the left of his opponent and lands a left hook.  
McCloy drives a right uppercut into his opponents ribs.  
McCloy quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent and lands a right hook followed by a left hook to his opponents body.  
McCloy tries to land a left hook, but Pearce blocks the shot and counters with a right hook.
