David Binnion vs John Cowans

Boxing Daily Report from the Knoetze Promotions promoted show at Perth Kimes, Perth,  taking place on 18/03/2033:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are David Binnion (11(8) - 1) who hails from Brisbane, Australia and John Cowans(4 - 2 - 2) from Melbourne, Australia.  Both Binnion and Cowans weighed in at 175 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Fraser Trimble, and the three ringside judges are John Drummond, Daniel Norman and Haider Yassin.  

Round 1: 

Binnion steps inside and is on target with a stinging right hook to his opponents body.  
Binnion lands a right hook to the body, and then to the head.  Binnion holds on to his opponent.  Binnion pushes his forearm into Cowans's face.  The ref halts the action and breaks the clinch.  He lectures Binnion about fouling.

Binnion pivots to the side of his opponent.  Binnion lands a right hook to the body, a right uppercut to the body and a right hook to the head.  Binnion ties up his opponent.  Binnion uses his free hand to throw a hook, but it hits Cowans behind the head. The referee warns Binnion and breaks the clinch.
