Boxing Daily Report from the North Star Boxing promoted show at Pavillon de Juenesse, Quebec City,  taking place on 23/04/2033:

There are a few empty seats out here tonight, but this is a respectable turnout for the show.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Colville Guillemette (8(2) - 0) who hails from Montreal, Canada and Davie Blackshaw(6 - 23 - 7) from Montreal, Canada.  Guillemette weighed in at 200 pounds, while Blackshaw weighed in at 199 pounds And 3 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Varocher Painchaud, and the three ringside judges are Gerard Segalen, Launcelot Rozenthal and Channing Lippmann.  

Round 1: 

Guillemette gets on the inside.  Guillemette pivots from in front of his opponent.  Guillemette digs in a left hook to Blackshaw's ribs.  Guillemette holds on to his opponent.  Guillemette pushes his forearm into Blackshaw's face.  The ref calls break and the two fighters separate.  
Guillemette connects with a stinging left hook.  Guillemette clinches his opponent.  Guillemette pushes his forearm into Blackshaw's face.  The ref breaks Guillemette's hold and signals for the fight to continue.  
Guillemette walks his opponent down, trapping him on the ropes.  Guillemette sidesteps to the right of his opponent and lands a right hook to the head, a left uppercut to the body and a right hook to the head.  
Guillemette lands a right hook to the body, and then to the head.  
Guillemette sidesteps to the right of his opponent and lands two consecutive straights to his opponents head.

Guillemette closes the distance and lands a left uppercut.  
Guillemette tries to step out of his opponents range.  Blackshaw feints a cross, but Guillemette ignores the feint and lands with a left hook.  
Guillemette gets on the inside and is on target with a firm left hook to Blackshaw's liver.  Guillemette ties up his opponent.  Guillemette leans on his opponent trying to wear him down. The ref breaks Guillemette's hold and signals for the fight to continue.  
Guillemette drives a left hook into Blackshaw's body.  
Blackshaw steps to the outside.  Guillemette lands a jab to the body, and then to the head.  
Guillemette tries to keep the action at long range and hits home with a solid overhand right.  
At the end of Round 1, lets listen in on the corners...Blackshaw's trainer is telling his fighter he needs to be more active or he's going to get outworked.
