Kyo Konda vs Michi Machi

Boxing Daily Report from the Fighting spirit promoted show at Fuchu Toda, Fuchu,  taking place on 28/03/2033:

Clearly Fighting spirit have made a mistake booking this venue with less than half the tickets sold, including those handed out as prizes by Boxing Daily.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Japan-Tokyo Heavyweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Kyo Konda (12 - 20(1) - 6) who hails from Tokyo, Japan and Michi Machi(17 - 18 - 3) from Tokyo, Japan.  Konda weighed in at 239 pounds and 3 ounces, while Machi weighed in at 226 pounds and 4 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Isamu Kuno, and the three ringside judges are Daichi Noda, Kazuki Miyashiro and Hisao Yamane.  

Round 1: 

Machi is on target with a cross.  
Konda attempts to land a cross, but Machi sidesteps and counters with a left hook.

Machi advances into close range.  Machi wants to work on the inside, but accidentally clashes heads with his opponent!  The ref does not appear to have noticed the clash as Konda dabs at his face checking for damage.  Konda has been damaged by that accidental headbutt.  That has caused bad swelling  around the right eye.  
Konda hits home with a cross.  
Machi steps inside.  Konda pivots to the side of his opponent and is on target with a right hook to his opponents ribcage.  
Machi attempts to land an uppercut to the solar plexus, but he strays low!  The ref stops the action and gives Konda time to recover.

The ref acknowledges the accidental headclash but allows the action to continue.    It looks like the clash of heads has caused some damage to Machi.  That has caused slight swelling  around the left eye.
