Boxing Daily Report from the AI Nigeria-Osun State promoted show at Bright Apiafi Gym, Ife,  taking place on 31/03/2033:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Nigeria-Osun State Welterweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Godfrey Uchechukwu (9 - 9(2) - 3) who hails from Osogbo, Nigeria and Ali Nouri(28(9) - 6(2)) from Ilesa, Nigeria.  Both Uchechukwu and Nouri weighed in at 147 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Izunna Adamu, and the three ringside judges are Haider Zahra, Haider Zahra and Shehu Ibeh.  

Round 1: 

Nouri is looking to close the distance.  Nouri lands a right hook to the head, a left hook to the head and a right uppercut to the body.  As Nouri tries to work on the inside, the fighters heads come together!  The ref does not appear to have noticed the clash as Uchechukwu dabs at his face checking for damage.  
Nouri steps inside and drives a left hook into his opponents ribs.  
Nouri sidesteps to the right of his opponent and lands a right hook followed by a left hook to his opponents body.  
Nouri lands a right uppercut to the head, a left uppercut to the body and a right hook to the head.  
Nouri drives a firm right hook into his opponents body.  Nouri throws a left hook, but his opponent sidesteps and counters with a left uppercut.  
Nouri lands a left hook to the body, a right hook to the head and a left hook to the head.  Nouri clinches his opponent.  Nouri pushes his forearm into Uchechukwu's face.  The ref halts the action and breaks the clinch.  He lectures Nouri about fouling.  
Nouri digs in a stinging left hook to Uchechukwu's body.  Nouri holds on to his opponent.  Nouri is leaning on his opponent in the clinch. The ref breaks Nouri's hold and signals for the fight to continue.  
Uchechukwu is looking to keep the action on the outside.  Nouri lands a ramrod jab.  
Nouri lands two left hook's to the head followed by a right hook to the body.  
Uchechukwu gets on the inside.  Nouri lands a left hook to the head followed by a right uppercut to the body.  
Nouri is looking to keep his distance.  Nouri lowers his hands, trying to provoke his opponent to attack.  Uchechukwu lands a cross.  
Nouri is on target with a nasty right hook.  UCHECHUKWU IS HURT!  
Nouri is looking to close the distance.  Uchechukwu could be stopped here, if Nouri can find the right shot!  Nouri lands two right uppercuts followed by a cross to his opponents head, DROPPING UCHECHUKWU TO THE CANVAS!  He is on his feet as the count reaches 6.  Uchechukwu now seems to have his senses back.

Nouri gets on the inside.  Nouri quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent.  Nouri connects with a left hook.  Nouri holds on to his opponent.  Nouri is leaning on his opponent in the clinch. Nouri tries to make the space to throw a hook, but hits Uchechukwu's kidney. The ref breaks the clinch and signals for the action to continue.  
Nouri lands two right hook's to the head followed by a left hook to the body.  
Nouri connects with a sharp right hook.  Nouri clinches his opponent.  Nouri throws a hook within the clinch but hits his opponent behind the head. Nouri is leaning on his opponent in the clinch. The ref breaks the clinch and signals for the action to continue.  
Nouri closes the distance and lands a left uppercut to the body, a left hook to the head and a left hook to the body.  
Nouri switches the action to the outside.  Uchechukwu sidesteps to the right of his opponent and connects with a cross.  
Uchechukwu advances into close range.  Nouri digs in a sharp left uppercut to his opponents body.  
Nouri lands a right uppercut to the body, and then to the head.  
Nouri throws a left hook, but his opponent slips the punch.  Nouri clinches his opponent.  Nouri leans on his opponent trying to wear him down. Uchechukwu tries to make the space to throw a hook, but hits Nouri's kidney.

Nouri pivots to the right of his opponent and lands a left hook followed by a right hook to his opponents head.

Uchechukwu throws a jab, but his opponent parries the shot and counters with a MASSIVE left hook.  IT LOOKS LIKE UCHECHUKWU WAS HURT BY THAT SHOT!  
Uchechukwu tries to step out of his opponents range.  Nouri is looking to force the stoppage!  Nouri lands two left hooks followed by a cross to his opponents head, DROPPING UCHECHUKWU TO THE CANVAS!  He isnt going to beat the count!  The winner by KO is Nouri!
