Sam Gillogly vs Daniel Lawman

Boxing Daily Report from the Forficula B promoted show at Lee-Hines Field, Baton Rouge,  taking place on 04/04/2033:

There are a few empty seats out here tonight, but this is a respectable turnout for the show.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on MSG Network, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Sam Gillogly (7 - 6 - 1) who hails from Georgetown, Guyana and Daniel Lawman(30(20) - 3) from Boston, USA.  Both Gillogly and Lawman weighed in at 200 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Patrick Parro, and the three ringside judges are Zachary Huntley, Ian de Vigny and George Mattison.  

Round 1: 

Lawman closes the distance and throws a left uppercut, but his opponent avoids the shot.  Lawman clinches his opponent.  Lawman pushes his forearm into Gillogly's face.  The referee breaks the clinch and warns Lawman to stop fouling.  
Lawman sidesteps to the right of his opponent.  Gillogly throws a left hook, but Lawman holds on to his opponent.  Lawman uses his free hand to throw a body hook, but it lands on Gillogly's kidney. The referee breaks the clinch and warns Lawman to stop fouling.  
Lawman feints a left, and then connects with a sharp cross.  
Lawman advances into close range and walks Gillogly onto the ropes.  Lawman lands a left hook to the body, a right hook to the head and a left hook to the head.  
Gillogly throws a right hook, but Lawman holds on to his opponent.  Lawman is leaning on his opponent in the clinch. The ref separates the two fighters.  
Lawman is looking to close the distance and digs in a left hook to his opponents body.  Lawman ties up his opponent.  Lawman leans on his opponent trying to wear him down. The ref breaks the clinch and signals for the action to continue.  
Gillogly tries to keep the action at long range.  Lawman hits home with a cross.

Lawman hits home with a sharp right hook.  
Gillogly steps to the outside.  Lawman lands an overhand left.  
Lawman steps inside and hits home with a sharp right uppercut.  
Lawman connects with a solid left uppercut.  As the two fighters work on the inside, their heads come together!  The ref does not appear to have noticed the clash as Gillogly dabs at his face checking for damage.

Lawman is looking to close the distance.  Lawman lands two left uppercuts to the body, and one to the head.  Lawman wants to work on the inside, but accidentally clashes heads with his opponent!  The ref acknowledges the accidental headclash but allows the action to continue.    That accidental headbutt has resulted in some damage to Gillogly.  That has caused slight swelling  around the left eye.  
Gillogly throws a right hook, but his opponent slips the shot and counters with a sharp right hook.  
Lawman is looking to close the distance and digs in a right hook to Gillogly's ribs.  Lawman ties up his opponent.  Lawman is leaning on his opponent in the clinch. The ref breaks Lawman's hold and signals for the fight to continue.
