Arnie Strickler vs Otis Peck

Boxing Daily Report from the AI Germany-Bavaria promoted show at Nuremberg Mauer, Nuremberg,  taking place on 02/04/2033:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a final eliminator for the Germany-Bavaria Middleweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Arnie Strickler (19 - 10(1) - 4) who hails from Nuremberg, Germany and Otis Peck(7(5) - 0) from Munich, Germany.  Strickler weighed in at 159 pounds and 10 ounces, while Peck weighed in at 160 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Dietz Pilling, and the three ringside judges are Wendell Jahr, Archard Labus and Alger Jenne.  

Round 1: 

Peck is on target with an overhand left.  
Peck lands a left uppercut followed by  two left hooks to his opponents body.  
Peck quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent and drives a right hook into Strickler's body.  
Peck connects with a left hook.  Peck holds on to his opponent.  Strickler pushes his forearm into Peck's face.  The ref halts the action and breaks the clinch.  He lectures Strickler about fouling.  
Peck pivots to the left of his opponent and digs in a stinging left uppercut to his opponents body.  
Peck closes the distance and throws a left hook, but his opponent parries the shot.  Peck holds on to his opponent.  Peck pushes his forearm into Strickler's face.  The referee warns Peck and breaks the clinch.  
Peck gets on the inside and is on target with a solid left hook.  
Peck lands a right hook followed by a left uppercut to his opponents body.  
Peck lands two left hooks to his opponents ribs, AND STUNS HIS OPPONENT!  Strickler almost instantly recovers. 
Peck lands three consecutive right hooks to his opponents ribs.  Peck clinches his opponent.  Peck leans on his opponent using all his weight. The ref breaks the clinch and signals for the action to continue.  
Peck lands a right hook to the body followed by a cross to the head.  
Peck connects with a solid right hook.  As the two fighters work on the inside, their heads come together!  The ref acknowledges the accidental headclash but allows the action to continue.  Strickler has taken some damage there.  That has caused slight swelling  around the left eye.  
Peck hits home with a right uppercut.  
Peck sidesteps to the left of his opponent.  Strickler is on target with a cross.  
Peck drives a powerful left hook into Strickler's ribs.  IT LOOKS LIKE STRICKLER WAS HURT BY THAT SHOT!  Strickler quickly recovers. 
Peck drives a stinging right hook into his opponents body.  STRICKLER WAS STUNNED BY THAT SHOT!  
Peck walks his opponent down, trapping him in a neutral corner.  Peck senses a stoppage victory - he just needs the right shot.  Peck is on target with a potent left uppercut to his opponents ribs.  STRICKLER IS DROPPED TO THE CANVAS!  He manages to get up at 4.  
At the end of Round 1, lets listen in on the corners...Strickler's trainer is telling his fighter he is being outworked and needs to throw more.  Strickler's trainer is passing on some tactical advice.

Peck pivots from in front of his opponent and lands a left uppercut to the head, a left uppercut to the body and a right hook to the body, AND HIS OPPONENT IS HURT!  Strickler almost instantly recovers. 
Peck pivots to the right of his opponent and hits home with a right hook.  
Strickler tries to keep the action at long range and is on target with a cross.  
Peck steps inside and cuts off the ring, trapping Strickler on the ropes.  Peck pivots to the left of his opponent.  Peck drives a left hook into Strickler's body.  Peck attempts to land a left hook, but Strickler blocks the shot and counters with a left uppercut.  
Peck lands a jab.  
Strickler steps away from his opponent and lands an overhand right followed by a cross to his opponents head.  
Peck gets on the inside and whips in a hurtful right hook to Strickler's body.  IT LOOKS LIKE STRICKLER WAS HURT BY THAT SHOT!  Strickler almost instantly recovers. 
Strickler switches the action to the outside and lands an overhand left followed by a cross to his opponents head.  
Peck closes the distance.  Peck pivots to the right of his opponent and lands a left hook followed by a left uppercut to his opponents body.  
Peck lands a left uppercut followed by a left hook to his opponents body.  
Peck walks Strickler down, trapping him in a corner.  Peck attempts to land a right uppercut, but Strickler blocks the shot and counters with a right uppercut.  
Peck slams a big left hook into Strickler's body.  DOWN GOES STRICKLER!  He beats the count, getting up at 4.  
Peck gets on the inside and lands two left hooks to his opponents ribs.  
Peck is on target with a firm left hook.  
Peck crashes a hurtful left hook to his opponents body.  STRICKLER IS HURT!  
Peck sees his opponent is hurt.  He's looking for the finish!  Peck drives a weighty left hook into his opponents ribs.  DOWN GOES STRICKLER!  He is back up on his feet at 7.  It looks like Strickler has now recovered from that earlier bodyshot.  
Peck is on target with a left hook to Strickler's body.  
Peck lands a right uppercut followed by a left hook to his opponents body, AND STRICKLER IS DOWN!  He manages to get up at 6.

Peck thinks he can end the show early....he's looking to put Strickler away.  Peck lands two left hooks to his opponents ribs.  He then lands a left hook followed by a left uppercut to his opponents body, AND KNOCKS STRICKLER DOWN!  He beats the count, getting up at 5.  
Strickler steps away from his opponent.  Peck lands a right hook followed by a right uppercut to his opponents body, AND DROPS STRICKLER TO THE CANVAS!  He beats the count, getting up at 7.  
Peck advances into close range.  Peck lands a left hook, right uppercut and a left hook to his opponents body, KNOCKING STRICKLER DOWN!  He is back up on his feet at 6.  
Peck manages to force Strickler into the blue corner.  Peck lands a left uppercut followed by a right hook to his opponents body, AND DOWN GOES STRICKLER!  He is back up on his feet at 4.  Strickler now seems to have recovered from the bodyshot.

Peck is looking to close the distance and digs in a forceful right hook to Strickler's ribs.  STRICKLER WAS STUNNED BY THAT SHOT!  Strickler almost instantly recovers.

Peck steps inside and lands two left hooks to his opponents ribs, DROPPING STRICKLER TO THE CANVAS!  He makes it to one knee, but is unable to rise any further as the ref counts 10!  The winner by KO is Peck!
