Sergey Kaplan vs Hamish Farrell

Boxing Daily Report from the Prizefighter Promotions promoted show at The DeVere, Southampton,  taking place on 01/04/2033:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the British Light Flyweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on Eurosport UK, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are The Stationer Sergey Kaplan (41(27) - 8(6)) who hails from London, UK and Hamish Farrell(16 - 2(1)) from Glasgow, UK.  Both Kaplan and Farrell weighed in at 108 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Lee Wynne, and the three ringside judges are Ashley Gilkeson, Davie Adduce and Ollie Yates.  

Round 1: 

Farrell tries to land a jab, but his opponent sidesteps and counters with a sharp right hook to Farrell's body.  
Kaplan gets on the inside and lands a left hook followed by a right hook to his opponents body.

Kaplan lands a left uppercut followed by a right hook to his opponents body.  He follows up the attack and lands a right hook to the body followed by a cross to the head, AND HIS OPPONENT IS HURT!  Farrell quickly recovers. 
Farrell manages to force Kaplan onto the ropes.  Farrell lands two consecutive straights to his opponents head.  
Farrell tries to step out of his opponents range.  Kaplan lands an overhand left, cross and a jab to his opponents head.  
Kaplan throws a cross, but his opponent slips the shot and counters with a left hook.  
Kaplan lands two straights to the head followed by a right hook to the body.  
Farrell is looking to keep his distance.  Kaplan connects with a cross.  
Farrell pivots to the left of his opponent.  Farrell throws a jab, but his opponent slips the shot and counters with a cross.

The ref does not appear to have noticed the clash as Kaplan dabs at his face checking for damage.  Kaplan has come off worse after that clash of heads.  That has caused slight swelling  around the left eye.
