Koenraad Biechler vs Manfred Johner

Boxing Daily Report from the AI Germany-North Rhine-Westphalia promoted show at Adalric Marti Gym, Bonn,  taking place on 14/06/2021:

There are plenty of empty seats out here tonight, with the show nowhere near close to selling out.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a final eliminator for the Germany Middleweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on SPORT1, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Koenraad Biechler (8(3) - 0) who hails from Karlsruhe, Germany and Manfred Johner(6 - 0 - 1) from Bochum, Germany.  Both Biechler and Johner weighed in at 160 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Werner Arn, and the three ringside judges are Gofried Dehner, Lambert Henzel and Tibalt Hemmelgarn.  

Round 1: 

Biechler is looking to close the distance and lands a left hook to the head followed by a right hook to the body.  He follows up the attack and lands a left hook to the body, a left uppercut to the head and a left uppercut to the body.  
Biechler is looking to close the distance and drives a stinging left hook into his opponents liver.  Biechler attempts to land a left hook, but Johner sidesteps and counters with a cross.  
Biechler is on target with a CRUSHING cross.  JOHNER WAS STUNNED BY THAT SHOT!  Johner quickly recovers. 
Biechler sidesteps to the left of his opponent and is on target with a right hook to his opponents ribs.  
Biechler advances into close range and manouvers Johner into the corner.  Biechler is on target with a right uppercut to Johner's body.  
Biechler drives a solid right uppercut into his opponents body.  
Johner is keeping his hands low...it looks like he wants his opponent to throw first.  Biechler hits home with a cross.  
Biechler closes the distance and connects with a stinging right hook.  
Johner switches the action to the outside and hits home with a cross.  
The two boxers are fighting in-close, but their heads clash!  The ref does not appear to have noticed the clash as Biechler dabs at his face checking for damage.    It looks like the clash of heads has caused some damage to Biechler.  That has caused minor damage to the nose.  
Johner is on target with a cross.  
Biechler attempts to land a jab, but Johner slips the shot and counters with a right hook.  
Biechler manages to force Johner onto the ropes.  Biechler is on target with a sharp left hook.  
Biechler closes the distance and lands a right hook to the head followed by a left hook to the body.  He then lands a right hook to the head followed by a right uppercut to the body.  
Biechler hits home with a solid cross.  
Biechler gets on the inside and lands a left hook to the body, and then to the head.  
At the end of Round 1, lets listen in on the corners...Johner's trainer is telling his fighter he needs to be more active or he's going to get outworked.  Johner's trainer is advising how he could stop so many clean shots getting through.

Biechler advances into close range and walks his opponent down, trapping him on the ropes.  Biechler is on target with a right uppercut.  Biechler ties up his opponent.  Biechler pushes his forearm into Johner's face.  The referee separates the two fighters and warns Biechler.  
Biechler lands a left uppercut to the body followed by a right hook to the head.  
Biechler closes the distance.  Biechler sidesteps to the right of his opponent.  Biechler connects with a stinging left hook.  Biechler ties up his opponent.  Biechler leans on his opponent using all his weight. The ref breaks the clinch and signals for the action to continue.

Biechler walks Johner onto the ropes.  Biechler is on target with a solid right uppercut to Johner's body.
