Mohsin Farran vs Umair Bacchus

Boxing Daily Report from the AI UAE-Dubai promoted show at Dubai Azad, Dubai,  taking place on 05/04/2033:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the UAE-Dubai Super Lightweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Mohsin Farran (15(2) - 7(1)) who hails from Dubai, UAE and Umair Bacchus(6 - 9(3) - 4) from Dubai, UAE.  Both Farran and Bacchus weighed in at 140 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Waqas Rahaim, and the three ringside judges are Tariq Kamara, Atif Bukhari and Syed Gazal.  

Round 1: 

Bacchus tries to keep the action at long range.  Farran feints a right hook, and then connects with an overhand left.  
Farran steps inside and connects with a solid right hook.  
Farran is on target with a solid cross.  
Farran advances into close range.  Farran quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent and lands a right hook followed by a left hook to his opponents body.  
Farran drives a right hook into Bacchus's body.  Farran clinches his opponent.  As they grapple, Farran pushes his forearm into Bacchus's face.  The ref breaks the clinch and signals for the action to continue.  
Bacchus steps away from his opponent and lands a cross.  
Bacchus sidesteps to the left of his opponent.  Farran connects with a sharp left hook.  Farran tries to land a right hook, but his opponent blocks the shot and counters with a left uppercut.  
Farran steps inside.  Farran quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent and lands a double left hook to his opponents head.  
Bacchus pivots to the left of his opponent.  Farran lands a right uppercut followed by a left hook to his opponents head.  He continues the combination and lands a right uppercut to the body followed by a left hook to the head.  
Bacchus throws a left hook, but Farran clinches his opponent.  Farran is leaning on his opponent in the clinch. Farran pushes his forearm into Bacchus's face.  The ref separates the two fighters.  
Farran advances into close range.  Farran is on target with a left hook to his opponents body.  Farran ties up his opponent.  Farran leans on his opponent trying to wear him down. The ref calls break and the two fighters separate.  As the two fighters work on the inside, their heads come together!  The ref does not appear to have noticed the clash as Bacchus dabs at his face checking for damage.

At the end of Round 1, lets listen in on the corners...Bacchus's trainer is suggesting ways of getting through to his opponent.  Bacchus's trainer is telling his fighter to increase his workrate.

Farran lands two left hooks to his opponents ribs.  Farran clinches his opponent.  Farran leans on his opponent trying to wear him down. The ref breaks Farran's hold and signals for the fight to continue.  
Farran is looking to close the distance and hits home with a right hook.  
Bacchus pivots to the right of his opponent.  Bacchus throws a right hook, but his opponent parries the shot.  Farran holds on to his opponent.  Farran leans on his opponent using all his weight. The ref calls break and the two fighters separate.  
Farran lands a right hook followed by a left hook to his opponents head.  
Bacchus pivots to the side of his opponent.  Farran lands a cross, jab and a cross to his opponents head.  
Bacchus throws a jab, but his opponent parries the shot and counters with a left uppercut.

Bacchus tries to step out of his opponents range and throws a jab, but his opponent blocks the shot and counters with a solid left uppercut.  
Farran throws a right uppercut, but is unable to get through his opponents guard.  Farran holds on to his opponent.  Farran leans on his opponent using all his weight. The referee breaks up the clinch and lectures Farran to stop holding.  
Farran is looking to close the distance and lands a double right hook to his opponents head.  
Farran digs in a stinging left hook to his opponents body.  
Farran feints a right, and then lands a cross.  
Farran lands a double left hook to his opponents head, AND BACCHUS IS DOWN!  He makes it to one knee, but is unable to rise any further as the ref counts 10!  The winner by KO is Farran!
