David MacQueen vs Colin Greig

Boxing Daily Report from the AI USA-Michigan promoted show at Grand Rapids Napier, Grand Rapids,  taking place on 06/04/2033:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the USA-Michigan Lightweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are David MacQueen (9 - 9 - 2) who hails from Warren, USA and Colin Greig(6 - 5(1) - 2) from Detroit, USA.  Both MacQueen and Greig weighed in at 135 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Amon Watters, and the three ringside judges are Max Gura, Nick McGowan and Jasper Mudie.  

Round 1: 

MacQueen throws a right uppercut, but misses the target.  MacQueen ties up his opponent.  MacQueen is leaning on his opponent in the clinch. The ref breaks MacQueen's hold and signals for the fight to continue.  
Greig pivots to the right of his opponent and lands a right hook to the body, and then to the head.  
MacQueen advances into close range.  As Greig tries to work on the inside, the fighters heads come together!  The ref does not appear to have noticed the clash as MacQueen dabs at his face checking for damage.  
Greig throws a right uppercut, but MacQueen ties up his opponent.  MacQueen is leaning on his opponent in the clinch. The ref calls break and the two fighters separate.  
Greig lands a right hook.  
MacQueen advances into close range.  Greig is on target with a right hook to MacQueen's body.  
Greig advances into close range.  Greig steps back and leans on the ropes with his guard up.  MacQueen accepts the invitation, throwing powerful combos, but is unable to land anything on Greig.  
MacQueen tries to land a left hook, but his opponent sidesteps and counters with a cross.  
Greig closes the distance and drives a left uppercut into his opponents ribs.  
MacQueen throws a left hook, but his opponent avoids the punch.  MacQueen ties up his opponent.  As they grapple, Greig pushes his forearm into MacQueen's face.  The referee breaks the clinch and warns Greig to stop fouling.  
At the end of Round 1, lets listen in on the corners...MacQueen's trainer is suggesting ways of getting through to his opponent.
