Alvino Sotelo vs Denton Pizzinato

Boxing Daily Report from the AI USA-Virginia promoted show at Henrico Theater, Richmond,  taking place on 08/04/2033:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on Fight Now TV, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Alvino Sotelo (17(10) - 1) who hails from Panama City, Panama and Denton Pizzinato(25 - 12(1) - 4) from New York City, USA.  Sotelo weighed in at 126 pounds, while Pizzinato weighed in at 126 pounds and 14 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Adam Walls, and the three ringside judges are Zachary Davis, Cole Scott and Hugh Wallach.  

Round 1: 

Sotelo gets on the inside and hits home with a right hook.  Sotelo holds on to his opponent.  As they grapple, Sotelo pushes his forearm into Pizzinato's face.  The referee separates the two fighters and warns Sotelo.  
Sotelo is on target with a right hook.  
Sotelo walks his opponent down, trapping him in the corner.  Sotelo digs in a stinging right hook to his opponents body.  Sotelo clinches his opponent.  Sotelo leans on his opponent trying to wear him down. The ref separates the two fighters.  
Sotelo drives a right uppercut into his opponents body.  
Sotelo closes the distance and lands two right hooks to his opponents ribs.  THAT HURT HIS OPPONENT!  
Sotelo stalks his opponent...he just needs the right shot to put his opponent away!  Sotelo lands a left uppercut to the body, a left uppercut to the head and a cross to the head.  He then lands a right hook, left uppercut and a left hook to his opponents body, AND KNOCKS PIZZINATO DOWN!  He manages to get up at 4.  It looks like Pizzinato has now recovered from that earlier bodyshot.  
Sotelo drives a solid right hook into his opponents ribcage.  
Sotelo throws a left hook, but his opponent slips the shot and counters with a right uppercut.  
Sotelo lands a right hook to the head, a right hook to the body and a left uppercut to the head.  
Sotelo lands a stinging right hook.  
Sotelo lands a right uppercut, right hook and a left uppercut to his opponents body.  Sotelo clinches his opponent.  As they grapple, Sotelo pushes his forearm into Pizzinato's face.  The ref calls break and the two fighters separate.  
Sotelo digs in a left uppercut to his opponents liver.  
Sotelo walks Pizzinato onto the ropes.  Sotelo drives a sharp right hook into his opponents ribs.  
Sotelo is on target with a stinging right uppercut to his opponents body.  
Sotelo gets on the inside.  Pizzinato pivots to the left of his opponent.  Sotelo lands a solid left hook.  As Sotelo tries to work on the inside, the fighters heads come together!  The ref acknowledges the accidental headclash but allows the action to continue.  Pizzinato has come off worse after that clash of heads.  That has caused slight swelling  around the right eye.  
Sotelo lands a cross followed by a jab to his opponents head.  
Sotelo forces Pizzinato to retreat onto the ropes.  Sotelo digs in a left hook to his opponents body.  
Pizzinato throws a right hook, but his opponent sidesteps and counters with a FEARSOME left hook.  PIZZINATO HAS BEEN KNOCKED DOWN!  He beats the count, getting up at 7.  
Sotelo digs in a firm right hook to Pizzinato's ribs.  
Sotelo digs in a solid right uppercut to his opponents body.  Sotelo clinches his opponent.  Sotelo is leaning on his opponent in the clinch. Sotelo pushes his forearm into Pizzinato's face.  The referee breaks the clinch and warns Sotelo to stop fouling.  
Sotelo digs in a stinging right uppercut to Pizzinato's body.  
At the end of Round 1, lets listen in on the corners...Pizzinato's trainer is suggesting ways of getting through to his opponent.  Pizzinato's trainer is passing on some tactical advice.

Sotelo is looking to close the distance.  Pizzinato pivots from in front of his opponent.  Sotelo lands three consecutive left hooks to his opponents ribs.  
Sotelo lands a jab followed by a left uppercut to his opponents head.  
Pizzinato attempts to land a jab, but Sotelo blocks the shot and counters with a left hook.  
Sotelo is looking to close the distance and is on target with a sharp left hook.  
Sotelo gets on the inside and lands a right hook, right uppercut and a left hook to his opponents body, AND HIS OPPONENT IS HURT!  Pizzinato almost instantly recovers. 
Sotelo drives a solid right hook into his opponents ribs.  
Sotelo steps inside and lands a left hook followed by a right hook to his opponents body.  THAT HURT HIS OPPONENT!  Pizzinato recovers before his opponent can take advantage. 
Sotelo closes the distance and lands a left uppercut followed by a left hook to his opponents body, AND HIS OPPONENT IS HURT!  
Sotelo knows Pizzinato is hurt...he is putting the pressure on now, looking for the stoppage.  Sotelo lands a right hook to the head followed by a left uppercut to the body, AND DROPS PIZZINATO TO THE CANVAS!  He manages to get up at 4.  Pizzinato now seems to have recovered from the bodyshot.  
Sotelo walks Pizzinato down, trapping him in the blue corner.  Sotelo digs in a stinging right hook to his opponents body.  
Sotelo pivots to the side of his opponent and connects with a stinging right uppercut.  
Sotelo sidesteps to the right of his opponent and hits home with a stinging right hook.  
Sotelo lands a left uppercut followed by a right hook to his opponents body.  
Sotelo closes the distance and lands a right uppercut to the body, a left hook to the head and a left hook to the body.  HE HAS HIS OPPONENT IN TROUBLE!  
Sotelo is looking to put the pressure on now...he knows a few clean shots could mean an early night.  Sotelo lands a right hook to the head, a right hook to the body and a right uppercut to the body.  He then lands a left hook to the body, a left uppercut to the head and a left uppercut to the body.  He doesnt look in good shape though! Pizzinato is still on wobbly legs as the ref signals that the fight is over.  The winner by TKO is Sotelo!
