Thomas McNamara vs Justin Hughes

Boxing Daily Report from the AI Ireland-Leinster promoted show at John Cary Gym, Drogheda,  taking place on 07/05/2021:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  This is a final eliminator for the Irish-Leinster Super Lightweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on Eurosport Ireland, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Thomas McNamara (6 - 2) who hails from Dublin, Ireland and Justin Hughes(5 - 1 - 1) from Dublin, Ireland.  McNamara weighed in at 140 pounds, while Hughes weighed in at 139 pounds and 11 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Lorcan Coleman, and the three ringside judges are Mark McClellan, Lee Donnell and Michael Dillon.  

Round 1: 

McNamara finds the target with a jab.  
McNamara feints a jab and triggers a left uppercut counter from Hughes.  McNamara avoids the shot and counters with a cross.  
McNamara quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent.  Hughes lands a jab.
