Alan MacDermott vs Agon Velo

Boxing Daily Report from the Mthethwa Promotions promoted show at Glasgow Lipton, Glasgow,  taking place on 11/04/2033:

There are plenty of empty seats out here tonight, with the show nowhere near close to selling out.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Celtic Super Featherweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Alan MacDermott (16 - 7(1)) who hails from Edinburgh, UK and Agon Volcano Velo(24(8) - 2) from Cardiff, UK.  Both MacDermott and Velo weighed in at 130 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Angus Greenaway, and the three ringside judges are Marcus Couch, Peter MacLaughlin and James Matthew.  

Round 1: 

Velo pivots to the left of his opponent and lands a cross followed by a right hook to his opponents head.  
Velo switches the action to the outside.  MacDermott throws a cross, but his opponent dodges the shot and counters with a left hook.  
MacDermott is on target with a left uppercut.  
Velo walks MacDermott onto the ropes.  Velo quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent and lands a cross to the head followed by a right hook to the body.  
Velo lands a right uppercut.  
Velo steps away from his opponent.  MacDermott lands a straight 1 - 2.  
Velo manouvers his opponent onto the ropes.  MacDermott lands with a stiff jab.

MacDermott steps inside and throws a right hook, but Velo ties up his opponent.  MacDermott tries to make the space to throw a hook, but hits Velo's kidney. The ref halts the action and breaks the clinch.  He lectures MacDermott about fouling.

MacDermott tries to step out of his opponents range.  Velo stands off with low guard waiting for his opponent to launch an attack.  MacDermott connects with a sharp overhand right.

Velo manouvers MacDermott onto the ropes.  Velo lands a jab to the head followed by a right uppercut to the body.

MacDermott closes the distance.  Velo pivots to the side of his opponent.  Velo lands a telling right hook.  MACDERMOTT IS HURT!  Velo clinches his opponent.  Velo pushes his forearm into MacDermott's face.  The ref halts the action and breaks the clinch.  He lectures Velo about fouling.  
Velo is looking to put the pressure on now...he knows a few clean shots could mean an early night.  Velo lands a right hook followed by  two straights to his opponents head, AND SENDS MACDERMOTT SPRAWLING TO THE CANVAS!  He beats the count, getting up at 6.  It looks like MacDermott has now recovered from that shot earlier.
