Paco Allende vs Ovidio Jiminez

Boxing Daily Report from the Mutagamba Promotions promoted show at Rodrigo Masias Gym, Santa Fe de la Vera Cruz,  taking place on 15/04/2033:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Argentina-Santa Fe Light Flyweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Paco Allende (5 - 11(1) - 2) who hails from Rosario, Argentina and Ovidio Jiminez(24(11) - 7(2)) from Rosario, Argentina.  Allende weighed in at 107 pounds and 7 ounces, while Jiminez weighed in at 108 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Alano Arcia, and the three ringside judges are Rogelio Bracamonte, Vicente Moises and Cortez Pio.  

Round 1: 

Allende throws a left hook, but Jiminez holds on to his opponent.  Allende leans on his opponent trying to wear him down. Jiminez is using his forearm in the clinch.  The referee separates the two fighters and warns Jiminez.  
Jiminez walks Allende down, trapping him in a corner.  Jiminez lands consecutive right uppercuts to his opponents body.  Jiminez clinches his opponent.  Jiminez is leaning on his opponent in the clinch. The ref calls break and the two fighters separate.  
Allende steps inside.  Jiminez lands a left hook to the body, and then to the head.  
Jiminez SLAMS a nasty left hook into his opponents face.  ALLENDE WAS STUNNED BY THAT SHOT!  Jiminez holds on to his opponent.  Jiminez leans on his opponent trying to wear him down. The ref calls break and the two fighters separate.  Allende recovers before his opponent can take advantage. 
Jiminez forces Allende to back into the corner.  Jiminez drives a right hook into his opponents ribs.  
Jiminez forces Allende to retreat into the blue corner.  Jiminez quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent and lands a left uppercut to the body, and then to the head.  
Jiminez wants to work on the inside, but accidentally clashes heads with his opponent!  The ref acknowledges the accidental headclash but allows the action to continue.  Allende has come off worse after that clash of heads.  That has caused swelling  around the left eye.  
Jiminez lands a left uppercut to the body, and then to the head.  
Jiminez digs in a left uppercut to his opponents body.  
Jiminez hits home with a right uppercut.  
Jiminez lands a right hook to the body followed by a left hook to the head.  
Jiminez lands a left hook, right hook and a left uppercut to his opponents body.  
Allende throws a right hook, but his opponent sidesteps and counters with a stinging right uppercut.  
Jiminez gets on the inside and lands a firm right uppercut.  
The two boxers are fighting in-close, but their heads clash!  The ref does not appear to have noticed the clash as Allende dabs at his face checking for damage.  
Jiminez lands a right hook to the head followed by a left hook to the body.  
Jiminez lands a left uppercut followed by a right hook to his opponents body.  Jiminez ties up his opponent.  Jiminez leans on his opponent trying to wear him down. The ref breaks Jiminez's hold and signals for the fight to continue.  
At the end of Round 1, lets listen in on the corners...Allende's trainer is advising how he could be more accurate.  Allende's trainer is telling his fighter he needs to be more active or he's going to get outworked.  Allende's trainer is passing on some tactical advice. Allende steps to the outside and hits home with a cross.  
Jiminez gets on the inside and lands a right uppercut to the head followed by a left hook to the body, AND HIS OPPONENT IS HURT!  Allende recovers before his opponent can take advantage. 
Jiminez walks Allende onto the ropes.  Jiminez lands a left uppercut to the head, a right hook to the body and a right uppercut to the body.
