John Kearney vs Marcus McSwain

Boxing Daily Report from the Mthethwa Promotions promoted show at Edinburgh Mullins, Edinburgh,  taking place on 19/04/2033:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the British-Scotland Super Bantamweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are John Kearney (10 - 6(1)) who hails from Dundee, UK and Marcus McSwain(11 - 10) from Glasgow, UK.  Both Kearney and McSwain weighed in at 122 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Peter McWethy, and the three ringside judges are Gordon Loch, Angus Greenaway and David Hall.  

Round 1: 

Kearney is looking to keep the action on the outside and connects with a cross.  
McSwain advances into close range and throws a right hook, but is unable to get through his opponents guard.  McSwain ties up his opponent.  McSwain is leaning on his opponent in the clinch. The ref calls break and the two fighters separate.
