Hajime Kawakami vs Goro Shiba

Boxing Daily Report from the AI Japan-Aichi promoted show at Toyota Miyoshi, Toyota,  taking place on 21/04/2033:

There are a few empty seats out here tonight, but this is a respectable turnout for the show.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a mandatory fight for the Japan-Aichi Welterweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on Sky-A Sports, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Hajime Kawakami (18(1) - 1) who hails from Ichinomiya, Japan and Goro Shiba(16 - 12 - 3) from Nagoya, Japan.  Both Kawakami and Shiba weighed in at 147 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Raiden Matsui, and the three ringside judges are Michi Kawata, Hajime Miki and Yasushi Jin.  

Round 1: 

Kawakami feints a cross, and then lands three consecutive jabs to his opponents head.  
Kawakami hits home with a firm cross.

Shiba gets on the inside.  Kawakami lands a right hook followed by a left hook to his opponents head.  As Kawakami tries to work on the inside, the fighters heads come together!  The ref does not appear to have noticed the clash as Shiba dabs at his face checking for damage.

Shiba attempts to land an uppercut to the solar plexus, but he strays low!  The ref stops the action.  The ref sends Kawakami to the neutral corner.  He has a stern word with Shiba and threatens a point deduction if continues to foul.
