Leon Bateman vs Sam Watters

Boxing Daily Report from the Payakaroon Boxing Entertainment promoted show at Townsville Entertainment Centre, Townsville,  taking place on 28/05/2033:

There are plenty of empty seats out here tonight, with the show nowhere near close to selling out.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  This is a mandatory fight for the Oceania Bantamweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are The Victorian Mauler Leon Bateman (18(9) - 5(1)) who hails from Melbourne, Australia and Sam Watters(17 - 12(4) - 1) from Christchurch, New Zealand.  Both Bateman and Watters weighed in at 118 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Johnny Deasmhumhain, and the three ringside judges are Richie Higgins, Leon Kellar and Tobias Bruce.
