Klaus Niskala vs Hemminki Mieto

Boxing Daily Report from the P3P Promotion promoted show at Sonera Stadium, Helsinki,  taking place on 25/04/2033:

There are a few empty seats out here tonight, but this is a respectable turnout for the show.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  On the line tonight is the Finland-Uusimaa Welterweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on Nelonen, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Klaus Niskala (22(10) - 1) who hails from Helsinki, Finland and Hemminki Mieto(12 - 15(3) - 5) from Helsinki, Finland.  Both Niskala and Mieto weighed in at 147 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Manu Kivinen, and the three ringside judges are Pekka Waisanen, Sakari Vatoren and Tero Lehtinen.  

Round 1: 

Niskala steps inside.  Niskala voluntarily retreats back onto the ropes...he waves his opponent in!  Mieto accepts the invitation, throwing powerful combos, but is unable to land anything on Niskala.  Mieto throws a short cross to the body, but lands low!  The ref ignores Niskala's complaints and signals for the action to continue.  
Mieto pivots to the right of his opponent.  Mieto throws a right hook, but Niskala clinches his opponent.  As they grapple, Niskala pushes his forearm into Mieto's face.  The ref breaks the clinch and signals for the action to continue.

Niskala throws a left uppercut, but is unable to get through his opponents guard.  Niskala clinches his opponent.  As they grapple, Niskala pushes his forearm into Mieto's face.  The referee warns Niskala and breaks the clinch.  
Mieto switches the action to the outside.  Niskala hits the target with a ramrod jab.  
Niskala lands two right hooks followed by a left hook to his opponents head.  
At the end of Round 1, lets listen in on the corners...Niskala's trainer is passing on some tactical advice.  Mieto's trainer is advising how he could improve the accuracy of his work.  Mieto's trainer is telling his fighter he needs to be more active or he's going to get outworked.  Mieto's trainer is telling his fighter to tighten his defence.
