Louis Dallas vs Vittore Zanonato

Boxing Daily Report from the North Star Boxing promoted show at Milford Ice Pavillion, Waterbury,  taking place on 23/04/2033:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 8 round matchup are Louis Dallas (7 - 0) who hails from Saint Paul, USA and Vittore Zanonato(3 - 0 - 4) from New York City, USA.  Dallas weighed in at 117 pounds and 14 ounces, while Zanonato weighed in at 118 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Ian Parry, and the three ringside judges are Paul Muncie, Dave Rennick and Darryl Stephen.  

Round 1: 

Dallas strikes his opponents body with a jab.  
Zanonato manouvers his opponent onto the ropes.  Zanonato attempts to land a left hook, but Dallas sidesteps and counters with a right uppercut.  
Dallas is on target with a jab.  
Dallas is on target with a cross.  
Dallas advances into close range.  Dallas pivots to the side of his opponent.  Zanonato attempts to land a right hook, but Dallas sidesteps and counters with a stinging right hook.  
Dallas feints a left hook, and then connects with a right hook.  
Dallas is looking to close the distance.  Dallas sidesteps to the right of his opponent and lands a right hook to the body, and then to the head.  
Dallas lands a jab.  
Zanonato attempts to land a jab, but Dallas sidesteps and counters with a right hook.  
Dallas throws a jab, but his opponent sidesteps and counters with a cross.  
Dallas gets on the inside and lands a right hook followed by a left hook to his opponents head.  
Dallas gets on the inside and hits home with a left hook.

Dallas lands two right hooks to his opponents ribs.  
Dallas pivots to the side of his opponent and hits home with a right hook.  
Dallas manouvers his opponent into the corner.  As the two fighters work on the inside, their heads come together!  The ref does not appear to have noticed the clash as Zanonato dabs at his face checking for damage.  
Dallas lands a right hook followed by a left hook to his opponents head.  
Dallas digs in a right hook to his opponents body.  Dallas throws a left hook, but his opponent blocks the shot and counters with a left uppercut.  
Dallas finds the target with a jab.  
Zanonato attempts to land a cross, but Dallas blocks the shot and counters with a right uppercut.  
Zanonato pivots from in front of his opponent and finds the target with a jab.  
Dallas is on target with a right hook.  
Dallas cuts off the ring, trapping Zanonato in a corner.  Dallas digs in a right uppercut to his opponents ribcage.  
Dallas lands a cross followed by a jab to his opponents head.  
Dallas advances into close range and lands a right hook to the head followed by a left hook to the body.  
Dallas hits home with a firm left hook.  
Dallas steps inside and connects with a left uppercut.  
Zanonato throws a right hook, but Dallas holds on to his opponent.  The ref calls break and the two fighters separate.  
Dallas pivots to the right of his opponent and drives a left uppercut into Zanonato's body.  
Dallas advances into close range.  Dallas lands a right uppercut followed by a left hook to his opponents body.  Dallas clinches his opponent.  Dallas is using his forearm in the clinch.  The ref halts the action and breaks the clinch.  He lectures Dallas about fouling.  As the two fighters work on the inside, their heads come together!  The ref does not appear to have noticed the clash as Dallas dabs at his face checking for damage.  
Dallas lands a double right hook to his opponents head.  
Dallas cuts off the ring, trapping Zanonato on the ropes.  Dallas digs in a left hook to Zanonato's body.  
Dallas drives a right hook into his opponents body.  
At the end of Round 2, lets listen in on the corners...Zanonato's trainer is telling his fighter to increase his workrate.  Zanonato's trainer is passing on some tactical advice.  Zanonato's trainer is advising how he could improve his defence.

Dallas gets on the inside and lands a right uppercut followed by a left uppercut to his opponents head.  He then lands a right uppercut followed by a left hook to his opponents body.  
Dallas quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent and lands two right hooks followed by a right uppercut to his opponents head.  
Dallas is on target with a left hook to his opponents body.  
Dallas lands a right hook followed by a left hook to his opponents head.  
Zanonato wants to work on the inside, but accidentally clashes heads with his opponent!  The ref does not appear to have noticed the clash as Dallas dabs at his face checking for damage.  
Dallas gets on the inside.  As Zanonato tries to work on the inside, the fighters heads come together!  The ref steps in and separates the two fighters to check for damage.  Its not looking good!  The ref has ruled that the fight cannot continue due to the accidental damage.  As less than 4 rounds have been completed its going to be a no-contest!
