Fraser Laxa vs Waqas Bagheri

Boxing Daily Report from the Ringside Promotions promoted show at UST Sports Centre, Manila,  taking place on 20/05/2033:

The venue is mostly sold out with the fans eager to turn out for tonights fights.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Fraser Laxa (2(1) - 0) who hails from Taguig, Philippines and Waqas Bagheri(2 - 2 - 1) from Sana'a, Yemen.  Laxa weighed in at 147 pounds, while Bagheri weighed in at 146 pounds and 1 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Vicente Marahan, and the three ringside judges are Nasario Babasa, Iago Monterroso and Vicente Viloria.  

Round 1: 

Bagheri is looking to close the distance.  Laxa lands a right hook to the body, and then to the head.  
Laxa is on target with a spiteful jab.  
Bagheri gets on the inside and walks his opponent down, trapping him on the ropes.  Laxa connects with a right uppercut.  Laxa holds on to his opponent.  As they grapple, Laxa pushes his forearm into Bagheri's face.  The referee separates the two fighters and warns Laxa.  
Laxa lands a sharp jab.  
Laxa feints a jab, and then is on target with a stinging cross.  
Laxa tries to keep the action at long range and lands a cross followed by a jab to his opponents head.  He continues the combination and lands a jab to the body followed by a overhand right to the head.  
Laxa lands a firm cross to Bagheri's body.  
Bagheri closes the distance.  Laxa lands a right uppercut to the body followed by a left hook to the head.  He then lands a right hook to the body, and then to the head.  Laxa ties up his opponent.  The ref separates the two fighters.  
Bagheri walks Laxa down, trapping him in a corner.  Laxa is on target with a right hook.  
Laxa is looking to keep the action on the outside and lands a ramrod jab.  
Bagheri lands a right hook.  
Laxa is looking to keep the action on the outside.  Laxa sidesteps to the left of his opponent and connects with a cross.  
Laxa lands a double jab to his opponents head.  
Bagheri steps inside.  Laxa sidesteps to the left of his opponent.  Laxa hits home with a right hook.  Laxa clinches his opponent.  As they grapple, Bagheri pushes his forearm into Laxa's face.  The ref calls break and the two fighters separate.  
Laxa lands a cross followed by a overhand left to his opponents head.  
Bagheri manouvers Laxa into a corner.  Laxa lands a jab to the head, a jab to the body and a cross to the head.  THAT HURT HIS OPPONENT!  Bagheri quickly recovers. 
Laxa steps away from his opponent.  Laxa feints a right hook, and then lands an overhand right followed by a jab to his opponents head.  He then lands an overhand left followed by a cross to his opponents head.  
Laxa lands a jab to Bagheri's body.  
At the end of Round 1, lets listen in on the corners...Bagheri's trainer is suggesting ways of getting through to his opponent.  Bagheri's trainer is advising how he could improve his defence.

Bagheri is looking to close the distance.  Laxa lands two left uppercut's to the head followed by a right hook to the body.  THAT HURT HIS OPPONENT!  
The right shot from Laxa could be enough to force the stoppage!  Laxa lands a cross, left uppercut and a cross to his opponents head, AND DROPS BAGHERI!  The count reaches 10, but Bagheri is unable to get up!  The winner by KO is Laxa!
