Dai McRae vs John Brattain

Boxing Daily Report from the No Limit promoted show at Sydney Murdoch, Sydney,  taking place on 28/04/2033:

Clearly No Limit have made a mistake booking this venue with less than half the tickets sold, including those handed out as prizes by Boxing Daily.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Dai McRae (4(2) - 0) who hails from Sydney, Australia and John Brattain(1 - 1 - 1) from Canberra, Australia.  McRae weighed in at 139 pounds and 6 ounces, while Brattain weighed in at 139 pounds and 10 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Chris Lobban, and the three ringside judges are Lee Fabian, Vince Roubanian and Brendan Gillie.  

Round 1: 

McRae advances into close range and lands a right hook followed by a left hook to his opponents body.  McRae holds on to his opponent.  As they grapple, McRae pushes his forearm into Brattain's face.  The ref halts the action and breaks the clinch.  He lectures McRae about fouling.  
McRae feints a right hook, and then lands a stinging cross.  
Brattain steps inside.  McRae is on target with a right hook to his opponents body.  
Brattain sidesteps to the left of his opponent.  McRae lands a stinging cross.  
McRae is on target with a right hook to Brattain's body.  
McRae is on target with a jab.  
Brattain steps inside.  McRae lands two right hooks to his opponents ribs.  
McRae gets on the inside.  McRae quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent.  Brattain throws a right hook, but McRae holds on to his opponent.  McRae leans on his opponent trying to wear him down. The ref calls break and the two fighters separate.  
McRae is looking to close the distance and lands a right hook to the body, a left hook to the head and a left hook to the body.  
Brattain throws a right hook, but the shot is blocked.  McRae clinches his opponent.  McRae leans on his opponent using all his weight. McRae uses his free hand to throw a hook, but it hits Brattain behind the head. The referee warns McRae and breaks the clinch.  
McRae lands three consecutive right hooks to his opponents ribs.  
McRae lands a right hook followed by a right uppercut to his opponents body.  
McRae connects with a firm right hook.  
McRae lands a right hook to the body, a left hook to the body and a left hook to the head.  
McRae lands a right hook to the body, a cross to the head and a left hook to the head.  
McRae lands two left hooks to the body, and one to the head.  McRae ties up his opponent.  McRae uses his free hand to throw a hook, but it hits Brattain behind the head. The ref calls break and the two fighters separate.  
McRae lands a left hook to the head, a left hook to the body and a left uppercut to the body.  
McRae manages to force Brattain into a neutral corner.  McRae lands a right uppercut to the body followed by a right hook to the head.  
McRae lands two right hooks to his opponents ribs.  
McRae is on target with a sharp left hook to his opponents body.  McRae holds on to his opponent.  McRae is using his forearm in the clinch.  The ref halts the action and breaks the clinch.  He lectures McRae about fouling.  
McRae drives a left hook into Brattain's ribs.  
Brattain walks his opponent down, trapping him in the corner.  McRae is on target with a sharp right hook.  
At the end of Round 1, lets listen in on the corners...Brattain's trainer is advising how he could improve the accuracy of his work.  Brattain's trainer is telling his fighter to increase his workrate.

Round 2: 

McRae advances into close range and digs in a right hook to his opponents body.  
McRae lands a right uppercut to the body, a right uppercut to the head and a right hook to the body, AND DROPS BRATTAIN!  He is back up on his feet at 6.  Brattain almost instantly recovers. 
McRae forces Brattain to retreat onto the ropes.  McRae lands a left hook to the head followed by a right hook to the body.  
Brattain throws a left hook, but McRae clinches his opponent.  McRae is leaning on his opponent in the clinch. The ref breaks the clinch and signals for the action to continue.  
McRae sidesteps to the right of his opponent and lands a right hook to the body followed by a left uppercut to the head.  
McRae steps inside and hits home with a stinging right hook.  McRae tries to land a left hook, but his opponent blocks the shot and counters with a right uppercut.  
McRae lands a left hook followed by a left uppercut to his opponents body.  
McRae drives a left hook into his opponents ribs.  
McRae advances into close range and tries to land a right uppercut, but his opponent parries the shot and counters with a cross.  
McRae lands a cross.  
McRae advances into close range and lands a right uppercut followed by a right hook to his opponents body, AND HIS OPPONENT IS HURT!  
McRae manouvers Brattain into the corner.  McRae thinks he can end the show early....he's looking to put Brattain away.  McRae lands a right uppercut to the head, a left uppercut to the body and a right hook to the body, AND DOWN GOES BRATTAIN!  He is on his feet as the count reaches 7.  
McRae lands a right uppercut to the body followed by a left uppercut to the head.  He then lands a right hook, left hook and a left uppercut to his opponents body, AND SENDS BRATTAIN TO THE CANVAS!  He beats the count, getting up at 7.  
Brattain now seems to have recovered from the bodyshot.  
McRae steps inside and lands a left uppercut to the body, and then to the head.  
McRae lands a right hook followed by a left uppercut to his opponents body.  McRae ties up his opponent.  McRae leans on his opponent trying to wear him down. The ref calls break and the two fighters separate.  The two boxers are fighting in-close, but their heads clash!  The ref does not appear to have noticed the clash as McRae dabs at his face checking for damage.  McRae has been damaged by that accidental headbutt.  That has caused slight swelling  around the left eye.  
McRae is on target with a left uppercut to his opponents body.  
McRae drives a left hook into Brattain's ribs.  
McRae gets on the inside and digs in a solid right hook to his opponents body.  McRae clinches his opponent.  McRae leans on his opponent using all his weight. The ref breaks McRae's hold and signals for the fight to continue.

McRae attempts to land a left uppercut, but Brattain sidesteps and counters with a left hook.  
Brattain hits home with a right hook.  
Brattain connects with a cross.  
McRae advances into close range.  Brattain throws a left hook, but McRae ties up his opponent.  McRae is leaning on his opponent in the clinch. The referee separates the two fighters and warns McRae to stop holding.  
McRae is on target with a firm right hook to Brattain's body.  
McRae hits home with a solid cross.  
McRae pivots to the left of his opponent and lands a left hook to the body, a right hook to the head and a left hook to the body.  
McRae steps inside.  McRae pivots to the right of his opponent and lands two right hooks to his opponents ribs, AND STUNS HIS OPPONENT!  
McRae knows Brattain is hurt...he is putting the pressure on now, looking for the stoppage.  McRae lands a left uppercut followed by a right uppercut to his opponents body, AND SENDS BRATTAIN TO THE CANVAS!  He is on his feet as the count reaches 7.  It looks like Brattain has now recovered from that earlier bodyshot.  
McRae is on target with a stinging left hook.  
Brattain is looking to close the distance.  McRae lands a right hook followed by a left hook to his opponents body.  
McRae forces Brattain to back into a neutral corner.  McRae quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent and is on target with a left hook to his opponents body.  
McRae crashes a hurtful left uppercut to Brattain's body.  BRATTAIN WAS STUNNED BY THAT SHOT!  
McRae is really starting to turn up the heat!  He senses a stoppage here.  McRae lands a right uppercut to the head followed by a right hook to the body, AND DROPS BRATTAIN TO THE CANVAS!  He isnt going to beat the count!  The winner by KO is McRae!
