Angel Ferrin vs Joaquin Lopez

Boxing Daily Report from the AI Paraguay-Asuncion promoted show at Ocean Club Py, Asuncion,  taking place on 29/04/2033:

The venue is mostly sold out with the fans eager to turn out for tonights fights.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Paraguay-Asuncion Super Bantamweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Angel Ferrin (17(8) - 3(2)) who hails from Asuncion, Paraguay and Joaquin Lopez(12 - 13 - 4) from Asuncion, Paraguay.  Both Ferrin and Lopez weighed in at 122 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Montel Requena, and the three ringside judges are Zelipe Colmenares, Rio Olavarria and Nemesio Vidales.

He follows up the attack and lands a right hook followed by a left hook to his opponents head, AND STUNS HIS OPPONENT!  Ferrin ties up his opponent.  As they grapple, Ferrin pushes his forearm into Lopez's face.  The referee breaks the clinch and warns Ferrin to stop fouling.  Lopez almost instantly recovers.

Ferrin is looking to keep the action on the outside and is on target with a sharp overhand right.

Ferrin lands two consecutive straights to his opponents head.  Ferrin tries to land a jab, but his opponent slips the shot and counters with a right uppercut to Ferrin's body.

Ferrin feints a cross, and then lands a double jab to his opponents head.  
Ferrin drops his guard, and stalks his opponent...he wants his opponent to throw a shot.  Lopez attempts to land an overhand right, but Ferrin slips the shot and counters with a right uppercut.  
Ferrin lands an overhand left followed by a cross to his opponents head.  
Lopez tries to land a cross, but Ferrin sidesteps and counters with a right hook.  
Ferrin switches the action to the outside and hits home with a stinging cross.  
Lopez cuts off the ring, trapping Ferrin in a corner.  Lopez quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent.  Ferrin is on target with a sharp cross.  
At the end of Round 1, lets listen in on the corners...Lopez's trainer is advising how he could be more accurate.  Lopez's trainer is telling his fighter he needs to be more active or he's going to get outworked.

Ferrin tries to step out of his opponents range and lands an overhand left followed by a jab to his opponents head.

Lopez manouvers his opponent onto the ropes.  Ferrin lands a sharp cross.  
Lopez gets on the inside and throws a left hook, but Ferrin holds on to his opponent.  The ref breaks Ferrin's hold and signals for the fight to continue.  
Lopez manouvers Ferrin onto the ropes.  Ferrin finds the target with a jab.  
Lopez closes the distance.  Ferrin is on target with a FEROCIOUS left hook.  LOPEZ IS DOWN!  HE FAILS TO BEAT THE COUNT!  The winner by KO is Ferrin!
