Amer Labib vs Waqas Maloof

Boxing Daily Report from the UAE Boxing promoted show at Haaris Nabih Gym, Al Ain,  taking place on 06/05/2033:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the UAE-Abu Dhabi Featherweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Amer Labib (6 - 6(1) - 3) who hails from Abu Dhabi, UAE and Waqas Maloof(4(2) - 0 - 1) from Abu Dhabi, UAE.  Both Labib and Maloof weighed in at 126 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Haider Beshara, and the three ringside judges are Zuffur Rehmann, Aftab Nicoy and Syed Atiq.  

Round 1: 

Labib attempts to land a cross, but Maloof slips the shot and counters with a firm left uppercut.

Maloof is on target with a firm right hook.  As Labib tries to work on the inside, the fighters heads come together!  The ref does not appear to have noticed the clash as Maloof dabs at his face checking for damage.  
Maloof voluntarily retreats back onto the ropes...he waves his opponent in!  Labib tries to tag Maloof on the ropes, but his opponent blocks every shot!  
Labib tries to land a left uppercut, but Maloof parries the shot and counters with a left hook.  
Labib is looking to keep the action on the outside and tries to land a cross, but his opponent sidesteps and counters with a solid left uppercut.

Maloof steps inside and lands a right uppercut to the body, a right hook to the body and a right hook to the head.  
Maloof throws a right hook, but the shot lands on his opponents guard.  Maloof holds on to his opponent.  The ref separates the two fighters.  
Labib tries to step out of his opponents range and lands a cross.  
Maloof steps inside.  Labib throws a left hook, but Maloof ties up his opponent.  Maloof is leaning on his opponent in the clinch. The ref breaks the clinch and signals for the action to continue.

Maloof throws a left hook, but his opponent steps away from the punch.  Maloof ties up his opponent.  Labib tries to make the space to throw a hook, but hits Maloof's kidney. The ref halts the action and breaks the clinch.  He lectures Labib about fouling.
