Akira Ikehara vs Chris Liddle

Boxing Daily Report from the Montreal's Top Gym promoted show at Place Bell, Laval,  taking place on 28/05/2033:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 8 round matchup are Akira Ikehara (8(3) - 0) who hails from Sendai, Japan and Chris Liddle(18 - 11(1) - 5) from London, Canada.  Both Ikehara and Liddle weighed in at 200 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Verrier Luna, and the three ringside judges are Briant Sarraute, Johnny Smith and Launcelot Rozenthal.  

Round 1: 

Ikehara is looking to close the distance and lands two right hooks to his opponents ribs.
