Juan Peres vs Xaver Vera

Boxing Daily Report from the AI Venezuela-Zulia promoted show at Maracaibo Varon, Maracaibo,  taking place on 06/05/2033:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Venezuela-Zulia Super Lightweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Juan Peres (18(9) - 1 - 1) who hails from Maracaibo, Venezuela and Xaver Vera(12 - 4 - 1) from Maracaibo, Venezuela.  Both Peres and Vera weighed in at 140 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Elias Brion, and the three ringside judges are Alejandro Rayo, Federico Chapa and Alejandro Sastre.
