John Smith vs Matt Grandison

Boxing Daily Report from the Bimi Promotions promoted show at Atlanta Crombie, Atlanta,  taking place on 08/05/2033:

There are a few empty seats out here tonight, but this is a respectable turnout for the show.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a final eliminator for the USA-South Atlantic Cruiserweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are John Smith (20 - 8(1)) who hails from Pembroke Pines, USA and Matt Grandison(18(4) - 5(1) - 1) from Atlanta, USA.  Both Smith and Grandison weighed in at 200 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Hugh Wilk, and the three ringside judges are David Tarbet, Jake Kilgore and Mick Sander.  

Round 1: 

Grandison steps inside and is on target with a firm right uppercut to his opponents ribcage.  Grandison tries to land a right hook, but his opponent blocks the shot and counters with a left uppercut.  
Grandison lands a right hook to the body, and then to the head.  He follows up the attack and lands a right hook to the body, and then to the head.  
Smith switches the action to the outside and attempts to land a cross, but Grandison sidesteps and counters with a cross.  
Smith hits home with an overhand right.  
Grandison lands a jab to his opponents body.  Grandison attempts to land a jab, but Smith blocks the shot and counters with a right uppercut.  
Grandison is on target with a firm left uppercut to his opponents ribs.  
Smith switches the action to the outside.  Grandison feints a jab, tricking Smith into throwing a right uppercut counter.  Grandison springs the trap and counters with  a right uppercut to his opponents body.  
Smith steps to the outside and throws a jab, but his opponent blocks the shot and counters with a left uppercut to his opponents ribs.  
Grandison gets on the inside and manages to force Smith onto the ropes.  Grandison lands two left hooks to his opponents ribs.  
Grandison sidesteps to the left of his opponent and digs in a right hook to Smith's ribs.  
Grandison lands a right uppercut to the head, a right hook to the body and a left hook to the body.  As Grandison tries to work on the inside, the fighters heads come together!  The ref does not appear to have noticed the clash as Smith dabs at his face checking for damage.
