David Ralston vs Jonathan Patteson

Boxing Daily Report from the Sugar Valley promotion promoted show at DeWitt Family Stadium, New Haven,  taking place on 13/05/2033:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are David Ralston (9(7) - 0) who hails from Santa Ana, USA and Jonathan Patteson(14 - 11(1) - 1) from Vaughan, Canada.  Ralston weighed in at 200 pounds, while Patteson weighed in at 200 pounds And 10 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Davie Maines, and the three ringside judges are Davie Maines, Inigo Kelton and Dave Rennick.  

Round 1: 

Ralston is looking to close the distance and throws a right hook, but his opponent avoids the shot.  Ralston clinches his opponent.  Ralston is using his forearm in the clinch.  The ref breaks the clinch and signals for the action to continue.  
Ralston manouvers his opponent onto the ropes.  Ralston sidesteps to the right of his opponent.  Ralston throws a left uppercut, but his opponent blocks the shot and counters with a cross.  
Ralston advances into close range.  Ralston quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent and lands three consecutive left hooks to his opponents ribs.  
Ralston lands a left uppercut followed by a right hook to his opponents head.  
Ralston digs in a left hook to Patteson's ribs.  
Ralston lands two right uppercut's to the head followed by a left hook to the body.  
Ralston manages to force Patteson into the blue corner.  Ralston drives a right uppercut into Patteson's body.  Ralston ties up his opponent.  Ralston pushes his forearm into Patteson's face.  The referee breaks the clinch and warns Ralston to stop fouling.  
Ralston lands two consecutive left uppercuts to his opponents head.

Ralston is on target with a cross.  
Ralston closes the distance and lands two right uppercuts to the body, and one to the head.  Ralston clinches his opponent.  Ralston leans on his opponent trying to wear him down. The ref separates the two fighters.

Patteson sidesteps to the right of his opponent and is on target with a right hook.  
Ralston steps inside.  Ralston quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent and connects with a right hook.  
Ralston feints a jab, and then throws a jab, but his opponent dodges the shot and counters with a right hook.  
Ralston steps inside and digs in a right hook to Patteson's body.  
Ralston lands a right uppercut to the body, a left hook to the body and a right uppercut to the head.  
Ralston forces Patteson to retreat into the corner.  Ralston sidesteps to the right of his opponent and connects with a cross.  
At the end of Round 1, lets listen in on the corners...Patteson's trainer is advising how he could improve the accuracy of his work.  Patteson's trainer is telling his fighter he is being outworked and needs to throw more.

Ralston manouvers Patteson into a neutral corner.  Ralston lands two right uppercuts to the body, and one to the head.  
Ralston lands a left hook followed by a left uppercut to his opponents body.  
Ralston is looking to close the distance and lands a left uppercut followed by  two right uppercuts to his opponents head.  
Ralston pivots from in front of his opponent and lands a stinging right uppercut.  
Ralston hits home with a right hook.  
Ralston advances into close range and forces Patteson to retreat into the corner.  Ralston connects with a right uppercut.

Ralston snaps his opponents head back with a ramrod jab.  
Ralston gets on the inside.  Ralston quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent and lands a right hook followed by a left uppercut to his opponents head.  He continues the combination and lands a left uppercut followed by a right uppercut to his opponents body, AND HIS OPPONENT IS HURT!  
Patteson now seems to have got his legs back.  
Ralston steps inside and is on target with a right hook to his opponents body.
