Bozhidar á Kovalenkov vs Pavel á Shovkov

Boxing Daily Report from the Bulgarian Championship Boxing promoted show at Arena Monbat Ruse, Varna,  taking place on 04/06/2033:

There are plenty of empty seats out here tonight, with the show nowhere near close to selling out.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Bozhidar á Kovalenkov (15(12) - 0) who hails from Plovdiv, Bulgaria and Pavel á Shovkov(9 - 5 - 1) from Sofia, Bulgaria.  Both Kovalenkov and Shovkov weighed in at 175 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Tsvetan á Savinov, and the three ringside judges are Yosif á Kulichev, Tsvetan á Savinov and Evgeni á Zhirkov.

Shovkov leans on his opponent trying to wear him down. Kovalenkov is using his forearm in the clinch.  The ref halts the action and breaks the clinch.  He lectures Kovalenkov about fouling.

Kovalenkov stalks his opponent...he just needs the right shot to put his opponent away!  Kovalenkov lands a right hook followed by a cross to his opponents head.  He then lands two consecutive right uppercuts to his opponents head, AND SENDS SHOVKOV TO THE CANVAS!  He beats the count, getting up at 4.  Shovkov now seems to have got his legs back.  
Shovkov closes the distance.  Kovalenkov quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent and drives a firm right hook into his opponents ribcage.  
Kovalenkov lands a jab to the body followed by a cross to the head.  
Kovalenkov tries to keep the action at long range and lands a double jab to his opponents head.  
Shovkov gets on the inside and walks Kovalenkov onto the ropes.  Kovalenkov throws a left uppercut, but the shot lands on his opponents guard.  Kovalenkov clinches his opponent.  Shovkov is using his forearm in the clinch.  The referee separates the two fighters and warns Shovkov.  
Kovalenkov steps to the outside and lands a ramrod jab.  
Kovalenkov feints a cross, and then hits home with a spiteful jab.  
Shovkov closes the distance.  Kovalenkov lands a left hook followed by a left uppercut to his opponents body.  He continues the combination and lands a left hook to the body, and then to the head, AND DROPS SHOVKOV TO THE CANVAS!  He is on his feet as the count reaches 8.  Shovkov almost instantly gets his legs back. 
Kovalenkov steps away from his opponent and lands a straight 1 - 2.  He continues the combination and lands a double jab to his opponents head.

Shovkov closes the distance.  Kovalenkov pivots to the left of his opponent and digs in a left hook to his opponents liver.  
Shovkov attempts to land a jab, but Kovalenkov slips the shot and counters with a left uppercut.  
Shovkov walks Kovalenkov down, trapping him on the ropes.  Kovalenkov is on target with a firm jab to his opponents body.  
Kovalenkov quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent and drives a spiteful jab into his opponents face.  
Kovalenkov tries to step out of his opponents range and lands a double jab to his opponents head.  He then lands a double jab to his opponents head.  
Kovalenkov lands with a sharp jab.  
Kovalenkov snaps his opponents head back with a solid jab.  
Kovalenkov lands a straight 1 - 2, AND SHOVKOV IS KNOCKED DOWN!  He is unable to get up before the count reaches 10!  The winner by KO is Kovalenkov!
