Rhys Couch vs Andy MacPhee

Boxing Daily Report from the Mainza Promotions promoted show at The Roadhouse, Doncaster,  taking place on 17/05/2033:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the British-Northern England Bantamweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Rhys Couch (10 - 8 - 2) who hails from Bolton, UK and Andy MacPhee(5 - 10 - 2) from Wakefield, UK.  Both Couch and MacPhee weighed in at 118 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Rhod Secombe, and the three ringside judges are Rob Marceau, Gyn Gwenn and Amon Valentine.  

Round 1: 

Couch sidesteps to the right of his opponent and lands a left uppercut to the head, a right hook to the head and a right hook to the body.  
MacPhee closes the distance.  Couch connects with a right hook.  
Couch walks MacPhee onto the ropes.  MacPhee digs in a left uppercut to his opponents liver.  
Couch is looking to close the distance and digs in a left hook to his opponents body.  
MacPhee throws a right hook, but his opponent dodges the shot and counters with a cross.

MacPhee tries to land a left uppercut, but his opponent sidesteps and counters with a left uppercut.  
Couch closes the distance.  MacPhee lands a right hook followed by a left hook to his opponents head.  
Couch advances into close range.  Couch hits home with a left hook.  As the two fighters work on the inside, their heads come together!  The ref does not appear to have noticed the clash as MacPhee dabs at his face checking for damage.  
Couch steps inside and lands a right hook followed by a left hook to his opponents head.  Couch holds on to his opponent.  As they grapple, MacPhee pushes his forearm into Couch's face.  The referee warns MacPhee and breaks the clinch.

Couch advances into close range.  MacPhee sidesteps to the right of his opponent and lands a right hook to the body, and then to the head.  
Couch is looking to close the distance and throws a left hook, but his opponent slips the shot.  Couch holds on to his opponent.  As they grapple, Couch pushes his forearm into MacPhee's face.  The referee breaks the clinch and warns Couch to stop fouling.  
MacPhee connects with a left hook.  
Couch closes the distance and drives a right hook into his opponents ribs.  
Couch hits home with a left hook.  
Couch lands a left hook.  
Couch lands a double left hook to his opponents head.
