Santiago Malo vs Joaquin Gabaldon

Boxing Daily Report from the AI Colombia-Bolivar promoted show at Rogelio Beltram Gym, Cartagena,  taking place on 19/05/2033:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Colombia-Bolivar Lightweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Santiago Malo (6 - 7 - 1) who hails from Cartagena, Colombia and Joaquin Gabaldon(19(5) - 1 - 1) from Magangue, Colombia.  Both Malo and Gabaldon weighed in at 135 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Rodrigo Aguilera, and the three ringside judges are Fidel Canizales, Eloy Celestino and Rodrigo Aguilera.  

Round 1: 

Gabaldon digs in a right uppercut to his opponents body.  
Gabaldon walks Malo into a corner.  Gabaldon lands a right hook to the body, a left uppercut to the head and a left uppercut to the body.  Gabaldon ties up his opponent.  As they grapple, Gabaldon pushes his forearm into Malo's face.  The referee separates the two fighters and warns Gabaldon.  
Gabaldon hits home with a stinging left hook.  
Gabaldon lands a left uppercut to the head, a right uppercut to the body and a right hook to the head.  
Gabaldon lands a right hook followed by a left hook to his opponents head.

Gabaldon tries to make the space to throw a hook, but hits Malo's kidney. The ref halts the action and breaks the clinch.  He lectures Gabaldon about fouling.

He continues the combination and lands a right uppercut followed by a right hook to his opponents head.  Gabaldon holds on to his opponent.
